stez Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Akinbiyi being absolutely SH IT for us then we sell him and he's a natural goalscorer for everyone!!! pressure wasn't it? we was bought to be a foil to collymore, then collymore went (for whatever reason, depending who you believe) and the goal scoring was down to akinbiyi, which wasn't why he was bought. akinbiyi/collymore could've been very effective akinbiyi/benjamin wasn't!
syston_fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I remember being really angry in the 2-0 defeat against Birmingham in the premiership when we had 2 players sent off and Micky Adams was sent to the stands. Seem to have been angry almost non stop for the last few seasons when it comes to City
Libertine Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 probably when we were relegated from the prem and we lost 4-0 to southampton(i think) it was heaths first game and we were sheyet. i was so angry all game and i was in a crap seat. from that game forth, i've been pretty 'whatever' about lcfc. i get cheesed off but i don't let it ruin my weekend/wednesday/thursday/etc Same with me. I'm not that bothered anymore tbh.
Fosse_KC Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Wolves away. 3-0 up at halftime. 4-3 down by fulltime. That match still haunts me now and reminds of when I was in Australia a few months after that game I was paying to get into Melbourne Gaol (where Ned Kelly was hung) and I just happened to wearing a Leicester t-shirt that day. Started chatting to the bloke behind the counter who finished the conversation with the line: "Yeah, I saw that game of yours against Wolves a while back - pissed myself laughing" I was not amused!!
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Tough question: Losing 3-0 to the Sheep in the last year at Filbo Parker's sending off against Athletico, plus Muzzy's numerous penalty shouts Watching us making a pathetic attempt of equalising against Hull this season
Ultra Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I'm surprised someone hasn't mentioned being charged 1 quid 70p for a bottle of water at the Walkers, yet. Is ANYONE, even on here, dumb enough to pay that sum??
TrickyTrev Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Tough question: Losing 3-0 to the Sheep in the last year at Filbo Parker's sending off against Athletico, plus Muzzy's numerous penalty shouts Watching us making a pathetic attempt of equalising against Hull this season Thats a good call. Awful decision. We would have won if it weren't for it aswell. I remember an FA cup tie against Noriwch were their striker got fouled atleast 5 yards otuside the box and Wilkie gave a penalty. I was going bonkers at that point.
eaststandtom Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Shearer kicking Neil Lennon in the face without a doubt. Was on my feet hurling abuse for about 10 minutes solid. Probably be thrown out for that sort of thing now. yes yes yes!!!! the ref couldnt send shearer off could he!!!! so so angry i used language in front of my dad that 16 year old lads shouldnt even know
MC Prussian Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Wolves away. 3-0 up at halftime. 4-3 down by fulltime. I guess that'd do it for me, too.
Daggers Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 ...you end up paying a 14-year-old for a packet of cheese and onion crisps and they give you three pasties, two pints of lager and a packet of cheese and onion crisps. I still have your crisps, if you'd like to bring that lot with you we can swap. Please try not to spill the beer. Cheers
gosfox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Watching future City favorite David Speedy Cheat us out of the play-off final with his infamous dive for that penalty Gosfox
davieG Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 There's loads of games, many mentioned on here, but the home game against QPR last year put me on the verge of giving up football for good, it was the worse game of football, as a whole that I've ever witnessed involving an absolutely piss poor home team, the underhand tactics, cheating and bad sportsmanship of QPR, the appalling referee. The whole spectacle was worse than what you'd flush down the loo.
Maybes Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 There are so many classic moments. For me it was Middlesborough away last time we were in the premiership...bad times for pet cats everywhere! Yeah that was the same for me. I felt physically sick all the way home. It was horrible. I was also one of the unlucky thousand or so at wolves when we lost 4-3!!
Thracian Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I'm nearly always angry when RK's team is announced and people who should never be near the team are still there.
lesta_fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Have loads some mentioned already but who can forget Zjelko Kalac against Bolton in the League cup, also think the Spurs game at home the week before the Wolves game, was the one that started the bad run off 1-0 up Dikov only had to square the ball ( sorry forget who too) and we 2-0 up didn't next thing you know we've lost 1-2. Was fuming at both Also want to Chic Bates in 6th round of FA cup 1982. Wallington was my hero ( sad but true.)
Guest Gist Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Last seasons run of form when we didn't win in something like 12 matches.
Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Is ANYONE, even on here, dumb enough to pay that sum?? Yes My mates buy shite like that and then complain they have no money ffs!!! :pinch:
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 September 2006 Author Posted 29 September 2006 The words "can of worms" spring to mind. Apologies.
Swedging Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Is ANYONE, even on here, dumb enough to pay that sum?? True fans pay even more for that yellow water with added nasty taste that they try and convince you must contain alcohol since they can serve it at several degrees below 0 Celsius. I must find a chemist to find out at what temperature cat piss freezes at.
ithuriel Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 True fans pay even more for that yellow water with added nasty taste that they try and convince you must contain alcohol since they can serve it at several degrees below 0 Celsius. I must find a chemist to find out at what temperature cat piss freezes at. so where do they store and milk the cats
stez Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 so where do they store and milk the cats they keep them under the empty seats, that's why there's enough left over to supply all the nightclubs too
cisono Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 I'm surprised someone hasn't mentioned being charged 1 quid 70p for a bottle of water at the Walkers, yet. Who buys water at the Walkers!?!?!?
Filbert_Ross Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 theres to many crap games to mention, but 4-0 bolton springs to mind 1st game of seaon against a newly promoted team.
AyewJoking Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Yes My mates buy shite like that and then complain they have no money ffs!!! :pinch: Your mates huh?
Daggers Posted 30 September 2006 Posted 30 September 2006 Last week against Colchester has to be the first time I swore profusely. I'm still angry about it
