Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Two off the top of my head; 1) Izzet's penalty at Old Trafford having to be re-taken and saved. 2) Bolton "taking advantage of the new offside laws" and eventually Nolan's goal from this tactic, heightened by Walker's howler.
Bert Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Wolves away. 3-0 up at halftime. 4-3 down by fulltime.
Magic No. 8 Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 There are so many classic moments. For me it was Middlesborough away last time we were in the premiership...bad times for pet cats everywhere!
lookwhaticando Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Wolves away. 3-0 up at halftime. 4-3 down by fulltime. That was pretty poor. I saw the highlights for that game over here, stomach-wrenching stuff.

I was pretty angry at the time, but looking back, that was one hilarious calamity at the back.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Wolves away. 3-0 up at halftime. 4-3 down by fulltime. I remember that one, wolves is one of the very few grounds that sells spirits and at half time we were watching the game from the concourse, and we ended up throwing our drinks at the screen in disgust!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 September 2006 Author Posted 29 September 2006 Thankfully didn't go Wolves. I said at half-time seeing the scoreline on Ceefax that I bet we'd still lose and my housemates at uni were taking the piss out of me. I wasn't too pleased to be proved right though. One of them started singing "Wolves, Wolves, Wolves" so I kicked him in the head, an overreaction which was met with distinct disapproval from the group as a whole.

Yes, a full blooded beating would have been more appropriate!!!

Knighton Matt Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Shearer kicking Neil Lennon in the face without a doubt. Was on my feet hurling abuse for about 10 minutes solid. Probably be thrown out for that sort of thing now.

Sods Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Its got 2 be wolves away. But i get angry when we draw to teams like BRIGHTON 0-0 at Home its soooo anoying
Tommeh Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 probobly Bolton at home in the prem when walker fooked it right up and gave them a point. Most annoying thing after a match was at old trafford in 97/98 when cottee scored and we won 0-1. We got blocked in our car park til about 10:30 by some tosser in a modeo!! but I wouldn't complain if that scenario was to occur again!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 September 2006 Author Posted 29 September 2006 You alright there Sheephead? You appear to have gone a bit mental. EDIT: Sorted!
The Don Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Spurs game, cup final. Sitting in corporate seats, in front of some old spurs fan, I was 17 he must have been in his 50's. We were exchanging a bit of banter between us, then they scored, he jumped on top of me then pulled my shirt and started laughing. God knows how I constrained myself!!
lookwhaticando Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I'm surprised someone hasn't mentioned being charged 1 quid 70p for a bottle of water at the Walkers, yet.

Or spending all of halftime trying to explain what cheese and onion crisps look like. "There blue, no, not that blue, the other blue, left, left, up, right. Fook it they'll do (giving thumbs up sign).

Not too bad sometimes at Northampton when you end up paying a 14-year-old for a packet of cheese and onion crisps and they give you three pasties, two pints of lager and a packet of cheese and onion crisps.
ithuriel Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 many games. the portsmouth game at home in the season we were promoted when little took us up , we even missed a penalty and that bloody bell pompey clanged through out the match drove poeple mad. i heard a few of the lads in the kop say they were going to get the bellringer afterwards the season back in the prem when mcghee took over , against shef.wed. after xmas when we botched a penalty and i stormed out shouting abuse at a steward who just looked at me and lit a ciggy im betting he had seen a lot of that during the season. since we entered the new millenium there are too many to mention.
step Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 I cant remember which game I was most angry at but I know it was during the PT period when he systimaticaly distroyed one of the best teams we have ever had. Playing Akinbadbuy had me boiling, match after match, It was slow torture.
stez Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 probably when we were relegated from the prem and we lost 4-0 to southampton(i think) it was heaths first game and we were sheyet. i was so angry all game and i was in a crap seat. from that game forth, i've been pretty 'whatever' about lcfc. i get cheesed off but i don't let it ruin my weekend/wednesday/thursday/etc
Tommeh Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 You alright there Sheephead? You appear to have gone a bit mental. EDIT: Sorted! haha got chocolate stuck in the keyboard and had to press loadsa buttons to get it out
imagine that Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Akinbiyi being absolutely SH IT for us then we sell him and he's a natural goalscorer for everyone!!!
