Mark Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 what he played really badly did he? didnt pass at all and couldent head and didnt get stuck in? 45854[/snapback] I agree. Good post.
Benji Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 he was a complete joke blake out performed him which is saying something. He didnt read any of his flick ons and just looked lost on the pitch. only real chance he got to show off his control and he ends up passing it to their player he has been a decent player this season - but today was cack!
andy_croydz Posted 11 December 2004 Author Posted 11 December 2004 yeh carry on being clever, scowcroft wasnt BAD he was average i admit, no need to say hes rubbish EVERY GAME like you do.
Anish Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 Andy I think you're being unfair on Petrescu. Scowy today was abysmal - he didn't do anything right. He lost all his aerial battles, he looked sooooo slow when in possession of the ball, his off-the-ball movement was non-existent, and his control was quite poor more often than not. He was always in the wrong position when the ball was played in and he didn't seem to know what the hell was going on today.
emmalcfc Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 He looked like he didn't want the ball, when he got it, he was like, what is this thing i have here, what am I meant to do with it.
Bedford Fox Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 ok scowy didnt have a great game. but who was playing off him? he one alot of headers in the first half but no one was running on to his flick.(the way dickov used to)
Jonbluefox9 Posted 11 December 2004 Posted 11 December 2004 Not many people did have good games. Stewart and Stearman came out with credit and Taylor made a couple of good saves and can't really be blamed for either goal but his disribution was poor. Scowy didn't play well today eventhough he's been one of our best players so far this season but neither did Lil and he's also been one of the better players this season.
Teeno Posted 12 December 2004 Posted 12 December 2004 I aint his biggest fan but this season imo he's been alright, but today he was awful.
Ric Flair Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Personally I thought Scowy looked more potent than in previous weeks, Blake was an embarassment. I loved that shot of his which went out for a throw. Useless twat, no passion, no commitment, no nothing. Cockeye
Stuliasz Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Scowcroft for me had one of the worst games I have ever seen him play in a city shirt. He is one of my favourite players and I feel he offers a lot to the team at this level, but Saturday unfortunately was a very bad day for him. I'm sure he will strive to improve and come back strongly against Forest. Regarding your comment there about Blake, yes I know he wasn't great overall but in the lead up to that shot that went out for a throw in he performed a very good heskey-like turn that completely skinned the defender. I didn't see you calling Muzzy useless when he shot out for a throw against Man Utd last year.
Scow Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Because Muzzy is actually a talented player who has served us well... It's evidently clear that Blake isn't interested in playing for us. If he did, he would put himself about a bit more. If the ball isn't within 10 metres of his grasp, he won't bother. I really don't see what Adams and Levein see in him. It's no use having a good first touch if you can't do anything with it. Cardiff need a striker, and Blake is a hero down there...
Guest Posted 13 December 2004 Posted 13 December 2004 Scarecrow's worst performance this season, I felt. A blind man would have had better positional sense, and I could have won more in the air than he did all game.
