Lineker's Left Foot

When was the last time (apart from Leeds 4-0)...

Recommended Posts

the best game i remember was heskeys last game for us. we battered sunderland 4-2 in the prem with stan also scoring.

before that i remember a midweek win against southend (4-1 or 5-1) under brian little.

Errr...

It was 5-2 against Sunderland.

Perfect hat-trick from Stan (right foot, left foot, header)

One from Heskey (laid on a plate by Stan)

And a free kick from Stefan Oakes (remember him?)

In our last promotion year we beat a few teams 4-0, 4-1 etc.

Since then, we just haven't.

He's playing for Wycombe at the moment (where I live).

He's just come back from injury and the new(ish) manager reckons he should be playing in the premiership and has the best left foot in the country. I remember him being a decent player for us - I'd have him in our current team certainly if he's still the player he was.

He had a beautiful left foot. MON got the best out of him.

Under everyone else he looked a bit lost, a bit clueless and a bit lazy - not very well applied.

Under MON he didn't look out of place in the Prem.
