Manwell Pablo Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 So basically we can nearly make a whole team of suggestions; Douglas Maybury Tiatto Johansson Sylla Johnson Hughes O'Grady Hammond de Vries Roll up, roll up! Only one spot left in the full XI! Josh Low will have it before long.
lcfc_jme Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 In no particular order, but Douglas, Maybury, Sylla, MDV + Johnson Oh bollox, how can I forget - Nils-Eric Johansson
Sods Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Nils eric is a top man and you know it. I so wish he didnt hit the bar and score instead on saturday. Nills Eric Johansson Tu Tu Tu
Head Honcho Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 I'd much prefer to get rid of the idiot who sanctioned AJs signing in the first place!! Sylla, Johnson and Douglas on the playing side due to the high wages and the fact that we can do without them.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 The good news is both Johansson and Johnson should be gone by the end of the season, unless RK (and I wouldnt put it past him) trys to retain them I'm not sure bout when Sylla and Douglas are free to be set lose, is it the end of this season or next? Johansson does indeed expire this year. He's premiership bound, so we couldn't get him to stay if we tried. Johnson, alas, is here for another season beyond this season. Douglas expires at the end of next season to (our only goalkeeper with a contract beyond this coming summer!) Sylla also has until the end of next season, if I'm not mistaken. --------------------- Back on topic, I can't say. At first I thought Sylla would win hands down. But then I figured Douglas does FA and he's on more money than Sylla, I imagine. Then I thought about our useless battlin' midfielder, Johnson. The only battle he ever gets into is an argument with the lady at the post office - she doesn't think he's old enough for a pension just yet, but he insists that he's ready. I think I'll go with Johnson. He's useless. Douglas a close second, Sylla a close third.
multipack Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Sylla has not really been given a chance under RK i feel. so its hard to judge.
Head Honcho Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Sylla has not really been given a chance under RK i feel. so its hard to judge. ....no but he had plenty of chance's under CL and failed 95% of them!
Sods Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Sylla has not really been given a chance under RK i feel. so its hard to judge. Are you having a laugh
multipack Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Are you having a laugh not really, just making a point!!! can u not cope with someone disagreeing with you like a lot of people on this forum.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 ....no but he had plenty of chance's under CL and failed 95% of them! 95% is a bit generous, isn't it? He failed 100% of them as far as I'm aware. Are you having a laugh not really, just making a point!!! can u not cope with someone disagreeing with you like a lot of people on this forum. Troll?
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 95% is a bit generous, isn't it? He failed 100% of them as far as I'm aware. Troll? You didn't go to the Sheff United game then.
gatesheadfox Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 You didn't go to the Sheff United game then. that was the day i spent the entire night singing his praises when i was out on the town in geordieland, everyone was sick of hearing it.....flash in the pan unfortunately
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 that was the day i spent the entire night singing his praises when i was out on the town in geordieland, everyone was sick of hearing it.....flash in the pan unfortunately Indeed, the smoking jacket and slippers were back on the very next game.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 You didn't go to the Sheff United game then. Appologies to Sylla, I didn't realize he had a good game. Alas, I can only go on what I hear on the radio and what people on here write (so I'm well covered for wild opinions) I just didn't recall him having a good game - which shows my memory is crap, you'd expect someone to remember something like that.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Sylla was pretty good away at Watford last season. Won a few headers that day.
bald reynard Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 If there was only one, it would have to be JOHNSON - simply because Kelly INSISTS on playing him every match (when 'fit' !!). At least all the other 'reprobates' named, are dropped occasionally (or never play !).
Sods Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 not really, just making a point!!! can u not cope with someone disagreeing with you like a lot of people on this forum. I can cope with people disagreeing mate, but sylla has had his chance and he isnt good enough
Joe. Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Douglas purely because we don't need him and he's probably taking home a very handsome wage
chili_con_carne Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Douglas purely because we don't need him and he's probably taking home a very handsome wage Who knows his knowledge and experience might actually do Logan some good in training. I would rather keep Douglas as a backup to Logan and get rid of Henderson
Wils Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Douglas. Johnson came close but really Rab isnt doing anything apart from collecting his healthy pay packet.
