MONreborn Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 I Went to the ticket office today and they said 26,000 tickets had been sold and the KOP was just about full. Looks like the fans are coming back
Guest Gist Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 I'll be surprised if it is that many on the day because the ticket office are normally wrong but then again it is that 2 tickets for £25 offer.
Simon Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 I'd believe it, spent ages on the phone today trying to get through to book tickets...
Leicester Lass Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 People will want to go now we've picked up some form, the 2 for £25 offer has come just at the right time I think
syston_fox Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 When I went to get my QPR tickets today there was actually a queue in the ticket office!!!
holly Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 that'll be sat and tues with fab attendences then woohooooo
Fleckney Fox Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 Got my tickets - the lady said it was up to 28,000 - but i dont believe her
samingram_uk Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 whats the highest home attendence this season so far??
Cheese Me Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 All sounds very promising. A good attendance to bring some cash in and hopefully a good atmosphere to cheer the lads on. 28,000 would be brilliant!!
Fleckney Fox Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 samingram_uk- something like 22,000 im just going on the e-ticket website and it says there are not two seats available in the kop at least
Floating Fox Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 whats the highest home attendence this season so far?? Colchester 22'00 something. Hope the Kop is full then there wont be 100 spare seats infront of us Sit in D2/E1 if you want atmospherer in the kop. Also heard that f2? is quite good.
Floating Fox Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 samingram_uk- something like 22,000 im just going on the e-ticket website and it says there are not two seats available in the kop at least Surely not....Its been AGES since the walkers has even looked half full.
davieG Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 With the 2 tickets for one covering Southampton, Crystal Palace and Stoke one of them is going to be well subscribed and the most likely one would logically be the middle one - so a big crowd is fairly predictable.
Swedging Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 Bugger. Means more queuing for my half-time pint and an age to get out of the car park. Bring on the relegation form again.
Swedging Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 samingram_uk- something like 22,000 im just going on the e-ticket website and it says there are not two seats available in the kop at least Just bored, so I thought I'd see. E2 P-BB is completely sold out. Tickets elsewhere though.
FNQ Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 Got my tickets - the lady said it was up to 28,000 - but i dont believe her Love to be cynical, but that probably includes the 10,000 free tickets they have given away.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 Love to be cynical, but that probably includes the 10,000 free tickets they have given away. Free tickets or no free tickets, it was the biggest attendance of the season so far. Tuesday's game will surpass it by a country mile. It'll probably be the highest attendance for a few years. Absolutely brilliant timing, it's almost fate - MON takes a new job. It's quite close to us, and his first cup game brings them to us. Talk about a dream tie. Plenty of home fans for MON's return, and plenty of away fans as they've not too far to travel.
FNQ Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 Got my tickets - the lady said it was up to 28,000 - but i dont believe her 2,000 sales in 1 day - bit unlikely isn't it?
lookwhaticando Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 2,000 sales in 1 day - bit unlikely isn't it? 2k sounds like a bit of a stretch, but with a 2 for 25 offer and the recent good results, demand will jump quite quickly. Great time to pick up some cheaper tickets - when there's a chance we'll win a game.
FNQ Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 This is great news. I just hope they haven't fooked up by giving away free tickets, and having to turn away paying customers. Unlikely i guess.
lookwhaticando Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 This is great news. I just hope they haven't fooked up by giving away free tickets, and having to turn away paying customers. Unlikely i guess. There's plenty of room.
FNQ Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 But is there?? I can't believe the thought of a sell out has even crossed my mind. Shocking.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 I haven't got my ticket yet. They texted me asking to text back if I wanted one and they'd call me. Texted them and they texted me the same text straight back again. Text text text.
