Henry should have been higher up imo. Fair play he didn't have a great Euro 2004, but Deco wasn't exactly a star in that either. Having said that, Deco did win the Champions League and I think that vastly improved his chances.

I always felt it was a call between Henry and Shevi...it's an extremely tough call though, how Henry didn't finish 2nd is beyond me! Many people will probably aruge that Henry has been godly this past year, but really Shevi has done very little wrong. He's even been excellent for his country, Ukraine are currently leading their group with Shevi scoring 4 goals in 3 apps. And to be baning it in nearly 1 goal a game in the toughest defensive league says a lot! I'm glad I'm not the one who had to make the call though as these two (together with Ronaldinho) have had scintillating seasons!
