Scow Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 Championship Goal Of The Week Some cracking goals there, especially Robbie Blake's free kick. Sidwell's goal is on there too, but we made it far too easy for him.
Mark Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 Blakes was the best of the lot. Always rated him since his Bradford days, he's too good for Burnley.
Scow Posted 14 December 2004 Author Posted 14 December 2004 I think Wigan want him, but they've got Roberts/Ellington. Unless they plan to play him behind the front two, which would be a lethal combination...
Benji Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 surprised furlongs is leading easily i thought that was the 3rd/4th best of the lot

Guest Daniel Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 I think Sidewell's was the best goal, Furlongs was pretty good aswel but the other two take deflections.

Robbie Blake has developed into an awesome Div1/Championship player in the last 2 years, didn't rate him before but now his qaulity is there for all to see.

You wouldn't see Dublin turning his man like that with pace and smashing the ball in.

Guest Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 Well, we don't when defending, so why should we bother when going the other way!!
Nathan_Ellington_WAFC Posted 14 December 2004 Posted 14 December 2004 we are indeed after robbie blake had 3 offers rejected, and hes called of contract talks with burnley his agent wants him to come to wigan, i'm sure he'll want to come to wigan and also he was at bradford with jewell cant see us paying over a mill for him though oh, steven sidwell, what a cracker

shen Posted 15 December 2004 Posted 15 December 2004 voted for Sidwell... didn't see the goal before you posted it here, but what a cracking strike it was! fair enough, he got too much space, but you wouldn't have expected him to just belt it into the top corner from there...
