lcfc_jme Posted 25 October 2006 Posted 25 October 2006 Well considering you'd still have the tiny amount of money known as 3 million quid to your name if you handed over the required 50 million, then I don't think giving them that sort of money would be a big issue (chances are you'd be earning a killing anyway if you already had 30 million in your pocket, and the 23 mil from the lottery cost you 1 pound!!). As long as you got to re-name the stadium after you and have some sort of a say in who plays, how the money is handled etc You'd be the Hero amongst City fans forever

Makes you realise just how much Abramovich is worth though when you think that it would barely register in terms of his wealth (and spending on Chelsea to date).
