Not chance - it was invented in Leicester by Alex (something!) who is still a professer at Leicester University and has won various international prizes, hence its inital application in Leicester Criminal Studies

I know it aint a first yet, but we are set to be the first major urban area in the UK with a non-white ethnic majority population, by the time of the next census in 2011.

The city itself might do, but census statistics are based on the local authority district, which messes it all up as Bradford City Council actually covers quite a large area outisde the city boundary.
