Magictv Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Do you think there will actually be changes made? I'm not sure.
cisono Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Have we actually had a shot yet?!!! Nope. Goal attempts: 3-0 to Sheff Weds
Leicester Lass Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Do you think there will actually be changes made? I'm not sure. Probably not knowing RK or it'll be something totally stupid like bringing Maybury on
cisono Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Do you think there will actually be changes made? I'm not sure. There better be
bigboy Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 I'm off to bed, it's 1155pm here in Brunei, I was going to stay up but I will check back in the morning to see how the City got on! Come on you Blues
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Why do people keep saying he's playing 7 defenders when its the back 4, Stearman and Tiatto which is 6??
cisono Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 I'm off to bed, it's 1155pm here in Brunei, I was going to stay up but I will check back in the morning to see how the City got on! Come on you Blues Good night
Mark Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 So what changes do we suggest people?? Johnson off for Welsh, Tiatto moves to centre mid? And Fryatt on sometime soon? From what little is available on the bench to make a good side Sylla for McAuley Welsh for Johnson Fryatt for Hammond Logan Stearman Kenton McCarthy Johansson Sylla Hughes Tiatto Welsh Hume Fryatt
Leicester Lass Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Why do people keep saying he's playing 7 defenders when its the back 4, Stearman and Tiatto which is 6?? Don't forget we can't even count Johnson as a player
Magictv Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Why do people keep saying he's playing 7 defenders when its the back 4, Stearman and Tiatto which is 6?? pick one: Johnson, Hughes, Logan
Mark Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Why do people keep saying he's playing 7 defenders when its the back 4, Stearman and Tiatto which is 6?? What does Johnson offer in an attacking third? It's 7 defenders because no one is capable of moving forward with the ball.
Thracian Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 What really gets me is that we've put ourselves into a reasonably comfortable League position which might allow us to me a bit more adventurous without undue risk, to try new ideas to improve our performance, to introduce a different system but no. It's always the same stale and flawed approach. We have to have greater aspirations. If Levein didn't get away with playing so many defensive footballers in one team and Kelly's been forewarned about it often enough, why, why, why persist with that approach?. It is not losing that hurts it is the way we approach the game. You praise and encourage the team for their efforts at times but, overall where is the developing style of play. It doesn't exist. And this sort of line-up is not helping to change it.
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 From what little is available on the bench to make a good side Sylla for McAuley Welsh for Johnson Fryatt for Hammond Logan Stearman Kenton McCarthy Johansson Sylla Hughes Tiatto Welsh Hume Fryatt Pretty much perfect but its a bit of a risk doing 3 subs all at half time so I would do them but over the period of the second half.
Leicester Lass Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 From what little is available on the bench to make a good side Sylla for McAuley Welsh for Johnson Fryatt for Hammond Logan Stearman Kenton McCarthy Johansson Sylla Hughes Tiatto Welsh Hume Fryatt Looks good but when does Kelly ever make triple substitutions?? At least the Tigers are handing out a good thrasing
Suffolk_fox Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 OK, just got in, and about to go out. I haven't really got much time to read through the thread - how are we doing? Are we going to win, draw or lose?
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 What does Johnson offer in an attacking third? It's 7 defenders because no one is capable of moving forward with the ball. Hmm I see but its a slightly flawed (spelling) arguement.
Magictv Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Hmm I see but its a slightly flawed (spelling) arguement. not really no.
Leicester Lass Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Hmm I see but its a slightly flawed (spelling) arguement. Whether you count it as 6 or 7 defensive players doesn't matter, fact us we should only be playing with 4 defenders, not a minimum of 6 which seems to be happening every game
Leicester Lass Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 OK, just got in, and about to go out. I haven't really got much time to read through the thread - how are we doing? Are we going to win, draw or lose? Shit. Lose.

Wycombe Fox Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 OK, just got in, and about to go out. I haven't really got much time to read through the thread - how are we doing? Are we going to win, draw or lose? Same here- just got in too. Doesn't sound like I missed much Leeds winning Think it's going to be a s**t day!
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Whether you count it as 6 or 7 defensive players doesn't matter, fact us we should only be playing with 4 defenders, not a minimum of 6 which seems to be happening every game True - however I do feel Tiatto can offer something in the midfield.
lookwhaticando Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 What does Johnson offer in an attacking third? It's 7 defenders because no one is capable of moving forward with the ball. What the f/ck does he offer in our own half? Let alone the rest of the pitch...
Suffolk_fox Posted 4 November 2006 Posted 4 November 2006 Shit. Lose. Ha ha, nice short and to the point. You must be Stewart Hall's nemesis... Just go out. Don't bother sticking around... OK. I'll be back for tea!!
