Ric Flair Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 I bet he'll take advantage of the free bar on the plane home, good lad.
lcfc_jme Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Can't say I'm suprised. He hasn't looked right for a while now and his lack of runs over our summer and in the two innings he had in Australia confirmed it.
The People's Hero Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Good riddance. Good player but not on top of his game. Would have had a torrid tour.
Joe. Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 Yep, he's dont nothing good recently so he's not really a major loss to us. Hope he can sort himself out though, it's never nice to see somebody in his situation.
Nationwider Posted 14 November 2006 Posted 14 November 2006 He was ripe for a doing-over by McGrath, so perhaps it's for the best. We have a ready-made replacement in Cook as opener. That's the team nearly decided then... Strauss Cook Bell Pietersen Collingwood Flintoff Jones Hoggard Harmison ...plus two from Giles, Panesar and Anderson.
GavinWardmeLord Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Giles and Anderson will be the 2 from 3. Panesar will only play when England play 2 spinners at Adelaide and Sydney. Giles superior batting and fielding as opposed to Panesar's ability to spin us to victory will see him get the nod. Just got my tickets through for MCG and SCG and to be quite frank - I can't f*****g wait !!!! BARMY ARMY
BartonFox Posted 16 November 2006 Posted 16 November 2006 Well you can't have him and Vaughan in the same dressing room these days.

Their fans would kill his morale and focus, and their batsman would exploit his comical fielding. His bowling is tighter than Giles', but that will not see him picked ahead of Giles (we know the selectors make tough decisions - Jones in for Read and all)

Simi Posted 19 November 2006 Posted 19 November 2006 Thats a shame i think because although he was not on top of his game he can always dig out a decent score. Its going to be a tough tour to say the least now its even harder
