Matt Posted 26 December 2004 Posted 26 December 2004 Hi, just come on to check the scores thought i'd come to have a quick look on here... the result - pretty shitty ah? Anyway hi from Oz i'm over here staying with reletives for christmas, its Monday morning here, I got burnt on Christmas day, and I went to the races on Boxing Day...didn't have 1 win! but it was a fun day. I'm off to the pool today. Anyway i'll be back around Jan 6th(ish) but if I have anything to do with it, I won't be I want to stay here - and then Iwon't have to see Leicester lose if I stay here - but it sounds stupid but I doubt i'd be able to live without my Leicester See Ya then....and hopefully out of the 4(?) more games whilst i'm in Australia they will have better results
davieG Posted 26 December 2004 Posted 26 December 2004 Hi Matt sounds like you're having better time than us poor sods in Leicester. If I were you I'd take you're own advice and stay there, after all who in their right mind would want to come home to watch the shower of shite representing LCFC.
Guest Daniel Posted 26 December 2004 Posted 26 December 2004 Have a good time mate and good man for checking up on your loved club.
Matt Posted 28 December 2004 Author Posted 28 December 2004 Hi, yep...I'm sick and tired of Leicester - and i'm on the other side of the world. I have come to Oz 3 and a half years ago and got in Aussie Rules (AFL) so I think i'll take more intrest in thatwhen I get back home...I got an Aussie football today...I support Geelong. But as I said the other day I just couldn't turn my back on Leicester which I just can't understand...

Matt Posted 29 December 2004 Author Posted 29 December 2004 Nah Geelong ain't as bad as Leicester give them some credit! Anyway from what my cousins have been telling me Geelong are on the way up again! got into the finals this year not the grand final but half way there...since when have Leicester finished around 4/5th in the prem? to be fair i'd be happy if we finished 4/5th in div 1 Oh well...
dhermon Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 i would rather u follow geelong than the filthy magpies (collingwood) as for leicester well......... i pulled an all nighter just to stay up and listen to that crap last night:mad: why i keep putting myself through this i will never know

Today I went to the Nike/Adidas outlet stores today I bought a England rugby shirt for the $45 which is 10 pound..how cheap is that?!?! I also bought a LiveStrong wristband, and a Geelong hat, I'm going into the the city tonight (melbourne) to watch the fireworks...I've been told by my cousins to use my accent to my advantage on the hot aussie girls! Well from today its my last week here But i've kind of decided I am gonna finish my training at College which is at the most 3 years but it'll be more likly it'll be 2 years and then i'm gonna come to Australia for a working holiday (12 months) or I could come here for 2 years and then apply for Australia Citizenship! Whether it will happen in reality I don't know but its a good plan. Australia has everything - Good Weather, Good beer, Good lifestyle, Cheap living, Hot Girls, e.t.c... -I keep being told i'm living in a dream world!

At 8.30pm(9.30am English time) here I should be heading home ...I'll be back....maybe once i;ve done my training at college I will do a working holiday here! Infact the course i'm doing at college (Carpentry) would suit me better here, there is more work out here for me than there is in England...And it is one of the best paid trades in Australia! WOOHOO! ...But knowing me that won't happen - But I can always hope and wish!
