Canero has a lot of pace and used to play in that position at Killie...it was only MA who was obsessed with turning him into a right back. I would be interested to see what he could do there. Think we really need a couple of new players, but I know that we don't have money. Having Taylor at the club takes us over budget.

davieG Posted 29 December 2004 Posted 29 December 2004 I'd like to see a more positive attacking approach with a 433 formation. I'd prefer to see Dawson insted of Gemmill but can't see CL going for that just yet. With this formation it could easily change to a 4 5 1 when we haven't got possession with Scowie and Connolly taking up the respective wing position or even a standard 442 with Scowie dropping into the left wing position. It would be good if the formation changed throughout the game to confuse the oppo. Jordan Posted 30 December 2004 Posted 30 December 2004 I highly doubt we'll see Canero on the right--it'll probably be Scowcroft (for better or worse.) But PLEASE, Craig, PLEASE play Stearman instead of Makin.
