Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 December 2006 Author Posted 16 December 2006 Join in with the Ormondroyd chants?
Joe. Posted 16 December 2006 Posted 16 December 2006 I was in C2 as well and I didn't hear any chants out of the ordinary
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 December 2006 Author Posted 16 December 2006 TPH spent the whole match singing about Ian Ormondroyd on his own, doing the 12 Nights of Xmas with crap players from the early 90s. Absolutely hilarious.
Finnegan Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 I would have been sat in C2 if I wasn't 200 odd miles away. My old man was probably in C2, his season ticket's there. I'll never forget giggling like a schoolgirl at a picture in a program just after the new main stand was opened up at Filbo. It had pictures of the city players building the stand, had like Lee Philpot placing chairs or something. And at the back was Sticks with a huge nose lifting things up like a crane. Genius.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 December 2006 Author Posted 17 December 2006 i have vague memories of that chant how does it go again, i sit in e3 so couldnt hear him obviously On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me... Ian Ormondroyd On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me... two Franck Rollings and an Ian Ormondroyd On the third day... etc He got up to the fifth day but we had to veto his use of Gary Mills cos he was actually pretty good. We're going to get the full twelve sorted and sing it at Colchester - if I can manage to stop myself crying with laughter like yesterday.
Jimmy Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 when you get the full twelve sorted post it on here

Has to be from a certain era and they have to be shit but also likeable in some bizarre way.
Wils Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 How can you put Big Trev on that list. Disgrace.
Kilworthfox Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 I'd be happy with any of those. Has to be from a certain era and they have to be shit but also likeable in some bizarre way. Ok Elvis Hammond Josh low Momo Sylla Andy Johnson From the Current Crop?
Kilworthfox Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 How can you put Big Trev on that list. Disgrace. Tricky Trev was shit but likeable & would have to be on the list!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 December 2006 Author Posted 17 December 2006 Ok Elvis Hammond Josh low Momo Sylla Andy Johnson From the Current Crop? No!! It's got to be early 90s! With a few select exceptions. Might get ten definites and then do a poll for the last couple. Democratically-elected chanting. Plus as TPH pointed out, by Colchester it'll be Jan 13th and the 12 Days of Xmas might sound a bit odd. But what the hell.
Wils Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 Tricky Trev was shit but likeable & would have to be on the list! Im still missing him now.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 December 2006 Author Posted 17 December 2006 Coatsworth? Alan Paris? That's what I'm talking about.
Kilworthfox Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 That's what I'm talking about. oh to be back at Filbert Street in those glory days! I would give anything to be back seing shite football, crappy pitch an atmosphere, rowdyness, Walshy scoring a hedder from a steve Thompson corner, and the "goal" on the upton for steel scoreboard above the north stand happy days!
The People's Hero Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 No one fu cking joined in did they? Miserable so and so's.
Kilworthfox Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 No one fu cking joined in did they? Miserable so and so's. What's new took about 20 efforts to get the Mex wave going! I just ignore the staring so un so's now and sing anyway! Oh and where's the song i've given ya 12 shitty players from the early 90's! Pull that finger out
The People's Hero Posted 17 December 2006 Posted 17 December 2006 The original effort was... 5 Franz Carrs 4 Gary Mills 3 Phil Gees 2 Lee Philpotts and and IAN ORMONDROYD. Apparently though Gary Mills was actually quite good. So he's out (to be replaced by Nicky Mohan).
