JoeyB Posted 27 December 2006 Posted 27 December 2006 i only went for the maybe bit because im unsure even if we do keep the starting 11 i think that southhampton will be a real tough test but we hopefully can do it C'mon City
He's not bald Posted 27 December 2006 Posted 27 December 2006 Wev'e been lucky, played ok yesterday but Saturday will be the real test,I want desperately to say yes we are "on the up" but will reserve judgement until 16.50hrs on th 30th!!!
Fleckney Fox Posted 27 December 2006 Author Posted 27 December 2006 most likely, we will lose every game in janurary then win loads in feburary
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 27 December 2006 Posted 27 December 2006 It's going to be tough at St Marehs!!, a bit like my scrotum when I've been swimming in sea for 30 minutes. I'd definately be happy with keeping the unbeaten streak going and getting a point, then dumping a huge steamy load on the black cats. As long as we don't draw both games!!!
Thracian Posted 27 December 2006 Posted 27 December 2006 I don't think the same starting X1 has anything to do with it. We can compete with anyone in this division with the right attitude but I feel we've sacrificed points by continually giving ourselves a handicap. Southampton will be a difficult place to get a victory but I'll be there cheering them on and am in no way pessimistic. It certainly won't be hard to improve on last year's Southampton performance.
holly Posted 27 December 2006 Posted 27 December 2006 yes i think we can continue this form! same team and same passion as they have been showing dont see why we cant
lcfc_jme Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 No. For the reasons I have outlined in a few other threads in this forum. Kelly will take his foot off the gas when he thinks we're safe, and then results will begin slipping - draws at first. We'll draw 3 or 4 in a row and then start coupling them with defeats. And spiral down the table. Just like we did last time.

Wils Posted 28 December 2006 Posted 28 December 2006 All depends on Saturdays result,if we could knick a draw or even a win we will still have bags of confidence but if we lose i can see us just flopping again. Hopefully not though.
