Simi Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 Derbys defending was criminal. Some of the space they gave Tottenham was laughable.
Flynny Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Whats that music? It's vaguely familiar but I can't place it at all.
Simi Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 4 Points for Reading from Manchester United, Chelsea and Everton. Very good start for them.
Flynny Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 There's something about the way Chris Hutchings looks that suggests his every other word is probably "facking". Not just me?
Simi Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 There's something about the way Chris Hutchings looks that suggests his every other word is probably "facking".Not just me? I see what you mean Mike Riley having a great game! Wigan top of Prem.
Flynny Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I see what you mean Mike Riley having a great game! Wigan top of Prem. I know. They should have had about 3 other penalties too. 5-0 would have been pretty funny. I want Keano to do well, though. The game against Man U on the 1st Sept will be interesting.
Flynny Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Pretty shocking game, this. What was Warner doing?
Simi Posted 18 August 2007 Author Posted 18 August 2007 Pretty shocking game, this. What was Warner doing? He made a good save from the overhead kick, but apart from that he seemed to have a howler! Add that to what happened last week, he's not had the best start! When is Niemi back ?
lildave3 Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 What is that Fan Settee about at Brum ? Competetion bollocks I bet. I really feel like swearing tonight. I blame Potter.
Joe. Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Oh my. Fulham fans must be incensed . Boro rode their luck incredibly today First two Fulham players get injured, including their best forward. Then Mido's average shot manages to find itself into the net from another Tony Warner howler. And to cap it off they're completely robbed of an equalising goal and a point  Shocking.
Head Honcho Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 Lineker really needs to get new scriptwriter "Wigan have no peers"
Geo V Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 It was great fun watching Derby getting a dicking and well done to the lino for not giving that Healy goal for Fulham as watching Sanchez suffer would make my day.
Joe. Posted 18 August 2007 Posted 18 August 2007 I noticed many games with dwindling attendances, at least 4 or 5 that were floating around 20,000. For me that's extremely poor for Premiership level. I don't know what the reasons are for it, I'm guessing high ticket prices but it could also be fans taking their Premiership status for granted. Either of these reasons annoy me <_<

Either of these reasons annoy me <_< Yeah I thought that something was missing today. I didn't know whether it was simply the lack of any of the big sides playing or the fact that so many so called star players were injured, but something wasnt quite right. Also that scar on Alan Hansens forehead looked different. Maybe he has tried to colour it in or it could be his sun tan?
Brainy Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 The Brittania was empty today it seemed. It always is.

Geo V Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Have they sacked that female commentator? I cant remember hearing her during this MOTD.
Ultra Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 She hasn't appeared yet this season, but could well do so in the next few weeks.
Brainy Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 Have they sacked that female commentator? I cant remember hearing her during this MOTD. Thats what I thought yesterday. She's probably "back-up"
Cobbo Posted 19 August 2007 Posted 19 August 2007 She hasn't appeared yet this season, but could well do so in the next few weeks. Is this from the book of stating the bleeding obvious?
