Daggers Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 BBC Radio Leeds: "While we know it happened, we do not know which Leeds United player it was." That team is a fooking joke.
Tevez Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Leeds: Ankergren, Armando Sa, Rui Marques (Foxe 41), Heath, Douglas, Westlake (Cresswell 60), Lewis, Nicholls, Moore, Kandol, Blake (Healy 60). Subs Not Used: Stack, Howson. Booked: Foxe, Kandol, Nicholls. No Derry?

Leonisco Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Haha, lost to 9 men, still bottom of the league, 2 points off safety. Was great today when we were singing "You're going down with the Leeds scum" to Cov.
act smiley Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 A defeat against 9 men when they also had one M. Clattenburg playing for them. Neither of Cardiffs sendings off should have been - Chopra's first card was for nothing, Walton's cards, the first was a little harsh, the second was for a blatant dive by a Leeds player. Then their defender punches the ball off the line and out and doesn't even get sent off, not to mention the 4 minutes of stoppage time that turned into nearly 8 cause Leeds finally managed to get a bit of pressure and the fact that every single decision in the match went Leeds' way. Worst refereeing I've seen in my life... and still, Leeds lost. Oh, and there was nearly a third sending off near the end when a Cardiff player should have got a second yellow, but his first was for nothing so things got a little heated and Clattenburg decided not to. At the end he was surrounded by a wall of stewards and kept in the centre circle for a few minutes so he didn't get stuff thrown at him. Also, the Leeds fans tried to kick off some crowd trouble and an insane number of police popped up to shore up the line of stewards in the Grange End that they were trying to charge.
Simi Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Just spoke to a mate who is a Leeds fan and he was telling me that Cardiff and Leeds fans were brawling after Cardiff fans started to chant Istanbul to them.
act smiley Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 Wasn't really all out brawling, just Leeds trying to charge the steward wall to get at the Cardiff fans who were chanting that rather than trying to break their steward wall, a handful of Leeds fans got through and started a fight, then about 50 police came up and shored up the steward walls and took off a few people who'd been fighting. Didn't see what happened after the match though, saw that the Leeds fans were getting held in, but dunno if they got the crap beaten out of them on the way back to the station or anything.
MC Prussian Posted 17 February 2007 Posted 17 February 2007 The Leeds Situation is heating up rapidly...
lcfc_jme Posted 18 February 2007 Posted 18 February 2007 Leeds look near doomed at the minute - a rapidly sinking ship. I'd love us to relegate them this season. That'd be one of the best feelings. Ever.
