Anish Posted 18 January 2005 Posted 18 January 2005 We weren't in any sort of posiition for bargaining with Brum about the transfer...we took what we could do I doubt we had a selling on clause.

Was it the case that if we had sold Muzzy there was a fee due to Chelsea and this was after administration. I also thought that "football" debts were always due and were seen to be at a Club level. I could so easily be wrong. <_< B)

I could so easily be wrong. <_< B) 56246[/snapback] You could also be so easily right Steven, I'm basing my view on the point you have made about fottball debts, but I am assuming they had to be fulfilled at the time the old company existed and before the new company could start in as much as they could not be become unpaid or owed creditors but had to be paid there and then. But I don't know the law so am guessing. Threre's also the Denis Wise compensation saga which I'm led to believe the new company can't be liable for, but is that a football debt. The argument against all this was that we still got the parachute payments without which we would surely be dead and buried.
