Aussies keep losing

New Zealand have beaten them again, making it 4 losses in a row for them and 5 out of their last 6.

I'd like to think we demoralised them so totally that they're falling to bits, but more likely they were falling apart anyway and their continues losses show this.

I suddenly feel less optimistic about our ODI team. :(

They've now been knocked of top spot of the world rankings now. South Africa have gone top so I hope it continues to go wrong for the Aussies.

Aww poor Australia. I feel so bad for them. It's awful that they keep losing and are becoming demoralised. It's also terrible to see them knocked off their perch as the best ODI team in the world.

I heard something about Hayden breaking his toe :dunno:

Apparently he is out for 6 weeks. He was smashing the ball all over the shop and took a yorker on the toe.

I am just loving seeing the Aussies continue to struggle. In sport, you should always keep your proffesionalism and for the Aussies to have been quoted as saying about England that they "wanted to really hammer us and almost break us" and that England and NZ "werent testing them" was scandalous. What goes around comes around and they are on a stinking losing streak of I think 6 games and are all over the shop.

Lets see how they cope without Hayden and maybe Breet Lee who is only rated 50/50, Symonds who recently had an op on his shoulder and maybe Clarke may not be at the World Cup. If England were at full strength from the start we would have been much better and would have challenged them during the ashes but injuries harm sides and they are coping terribly at the moment.

They are flying high alright as are England, the South Africans are world number ones, Sri Lankans can beat anyone on there day, then there are the hosts the West Indies, the Aussies will be smarting and will be favs to win it and we havent mentioned India or Pakistan who can also be awesome on there day. This will be a great world cup!!!

I've +ed todays highlights. 350 to win!!!! Can't wait to see that beaut of an innings!

I'm actually starting to get quite excited about the World Cup now. Once the likes of Scotland, Fiji and Kidderminster have been knocked out of the group stages, there's probably about 5-6 teams that could realistically win it - which should make for a great tournament...

New Zealand coming into form just before we play before in the world cup... :(

So long as we beat... who is it, Bermuda and Kenya? Scotland? Piddling nations, anyway. So long as we beat them we can get past the group stage easy.

It just gets better for the Aussies. One of their better batsmen has broken a toe I believe, and they have just been whitewashed by New Zealand. No win in 5 games for them is it now? Miserable. And Ched thought he got the great draw in the World Cup Sweepstake. :P
