Rincewind Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 pleasant morning to walk home. after finsihing work. Birds are awake and singing. Yesterday morning I got pounced on by Spiderman. True. I was coming to near my street and this figure jumped out of the shadows and went 'Yaaaaaggghhhh' (sp) last I saw of him was walking away with Superman laughing. I'm very thirst. If I had beer in the fridge I would have one. Even lager. Had to do with pineapple and coconut fruit juice and a couple of beef sandwiches.
lookwhaticando Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 Sounds like you were at the Lager already... yesterday morning at the very least.
MC Prussian Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 Today I woke up earlier than usually. At around 4.30am, the paperboys went by our house by car, making a bit of a noise. It was all done with my sleeping pattern by then, not to my own personal pleasure. Getting up is often the hardest part of them all, but after that and bringing the newpapers in, the morning gets under way slowly and peacefully. My eyes don't always work right from the start as I often stumble around in my room, trying to make my way upwards, past the polished and slippery stairs (I live in the basement). No major injuries up to this day. Anyway, I'm all good and done for now, having just taken my daily shower. On my way out of the house soon. Can you hear the bus coming? I can't. Another 40 minutes to go. I hope you enjoyed this episode. That's all, folks!

Rincewind Posted 19 February 2007 Author Posted 19 February 2007 That's a fine piece of prose from LAWICD. Would not look out of place in a novel. Regarding Spiderman, I had not been drinking. I assume the lads were coming home from a fancy dress party. I thought it was funny at the time and took it as a bit of fun. But a trio of super heroes walking through the quiet streets of Leicester at 3.30 in the morning is not something you expect to see.
Ricey Posted 19 February 2007 Posted 19 February 2007 I was walking through Lincoln at 6:30 this morning, the birds were twittering away....kinda made me forget I'd had no sleep and had a day at work to look forward to

Rincewind Posted 19 February 2007 Author Posted 19 February 2007 I must admit I wss in a weorld of my own. Just glad it wasn't a mugger that suddenly appeared. I think the hours (3-3) may suit me. While I was on short time I've not been going bed unti 3/4 in the morning and getting up 10/11. If I do it on my days off then my sleeping pattern won't be affected too much. It's just an earlyish night every fortnight on a Friday/Sat for the weekend 6-6 dayshift.
