Nationwider Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Too many fat biffers blocking the aisles at my local Morrisons. At least they slow down the shop-lifting scummers.... Tesco's just down the road, so I go there. It's a soulless dump, but I like their tortellini.
cisono Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Whats Morrisons? An excuse for an expensive chain of supermarkets that used to be called Safeway in a previous incarnation... (They must have found out that their way was not safe and changed their name!!! )
cisono Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Where do you prefer to shop? I don't care if its Sainsbury's, read the thread name. How democratic of you
lookwhaticando Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Waitrose. Used to go Waitrose for the good stuff when I lived in Northants and Tescos for the other goods. Waitrose for the win.

lookwhaticando Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Unfortunately, that is not one of the options, is it... Hence my vote for Tescos.
fox123 Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 Personally imma Marks N Spencers food shopper the quality is second to none, but outta the two id probably pick morrisons if i had 2!
The Stig Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 im tesco till ide im tesco till i die... god im sad
Geo V Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 I have an Asda about a mile away so usually shop there but last year got so cheesed off with these fat housewives slinging there trolleys all over the place like that I walked out in a huff . It was almost like that was the only shop that sold food and there was no more coming for a month! I then walked into Marks and Spencer and there food is quality. Its way too expensive but the food is different gravy. I have never been into a Tesco`s or a Morrisons unless you count the Tesco Express Petrol station as official??!! If so, the answer is Tescos
Milky Posted 23 February 2007 Posted 23 February 2007 It depends which is nearest and easiest to get too. At home there is a nice big Safeway/Morrisons within 10/15 mins drive which is easy access so my family shops there.

However... although my closest shop is Morrisons (expensive in my opinion), I generally shop at Asda (cheap but somewhat dodgy morals, yet Asda shops are everywhere!!!)... I very much prefer Tesco!!! When I feel flash with money, I may venture all the way to Sainsburys
Stevosevic Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 Morrisons purely because of their sausage rolls
Guest Gist Posted 25 February 2007 Posted 25 February 2007 I think they are both as good as each other.
