I agree slightly, he definitely got caught and he would have got the penalty if he went straight down. From the replays he did look off balance and I think when he tried to run when he was off balance made him fall over.

True he would if got a pen if he had gone down straight away but he carried on and realised he was getting nowhere and went down.

If he was off balance he wouldn't have been running fine one minute and then flopping over on two knees, hands in the air, the next. You would have seen some comical high speed staggering first.

As you say, first was a definite pen, and Blackpool were actually the better side during the game so his dive at the end was justice, really.
