Went to see it earlier and was a bit disappointed really. It's not bad but I didn't think it was that great either. There's some good funny bits in it but that's about it.

I'd give it about 6/10

7 out of 10 purely because the best person in it was Timothy Dalton as the Supermarket manager who clearly enjoyed playing his role in the film. Simon Pegg was good as Nicholas Angel but i expected more from his mate Nick Frost plus the likes of Steve Coogan, Martin Freeman and the excellent Bill Nighy should have had bigger roles in the film. I actually enjoyed it overall but clearly views are mixed about how funny this film is. The shoot out at the end is very funny.

I really enjoyed it, which was a pleasant suprise after hearing some bad reviews. Not so many laugh out loud moments, but plenty of sniggers. Some of the humour will pass thick people by however.

I just think the storyline was too weird and farfetched to be a great film. Funny in parts but not a film that will be remembered for a long time...

7 /10 for me. Think people who havent seen Shaun of the Dead yet will find it better though. I think i was just expecting to much from it and thats why I was left a little disappointed by it all

9.5/10.

I thought it was brilliant. Just the right mix of really clever bits and really dumb humour (like the gore and stuff). It's really hard to pull off. The plot twist was superb and came just as I was starting to lose interest and suspect it would be dead predictable. When he goes back... that was great too.

I actually thought the explosion bit at the end slightly ruined it, as well as the predictable "no I like it here now" which was always on the cards from the beginning.

:o 9.5/10, near to perfection then ?

Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption films that that only warrant 9/10. :dunno:

Depends on the type of film. You watch those kinds of films for different reasons. I'd give Shawshank... 10, probably, but they're good for entirely different reasons.

I'll have to agree

Although I haven't seen it, going by the advert I'd give it a 5/10 :P

Yikes! If utter shite is 4/10, I wouldn't want to be in the same cinema as you when you see a 1/10 film. :(:P

hmmm good point but tbh some points made me laugh but i think that was only twice! couldnt really give it any lower wouldnt of been completely fair
