Scow Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 I used to be with Greens, which is near Abbey Park - Cost me £35 a month, but I decided to cancel my membership there because it was a bit too far to travel on a daily basis. Luckily for me, a brand new Leisure centre was built just a minute's walk away from where I live about 6 months ago. It's really convenient and it has all the equipment you need, plus a swimming pool, sauna, classes etc. I'm paying £35 for that aswell, but it's good value and easily accessible.
Wilson Posted 21 January 2005 Posted 21 January 2005 I've been going to Livingwell for nearly four years now - aint been for about two months though

To be fair my house is in Warwickshire but I live literally round the corner for the Warwickshire/Leicestershire border, I live so close to it that you go into my garden and you are over the border!
Matt Posted 23 January 2005 Posted 23 January 2005 I've got a free pass for the whole of this week at cannons, so i'm going with my next door neighbours daughter all through this week! Everything is free, Gym, classes, pool, sauna, sunbeds, massage, e.t.c! Top Class! WOOHOO! Guest Daniel Posted 23 January 2005 Posted 23 January 2005 Did you know that you can run around your local area, lift weights you have got from argos and eat less to keep fit at alot less? It might even save you money if you dont buy as much food. Some people prefer to hang round a sweaty gym with smelly old men though and pay a large amount of money.
Ash Posted 23 January 2005 Posted 23 January 2005 I might join the new Braunstone Gym , £20 A year & £2.50 everytime you visit

Going tommorrow, gonna make good use of this 7 day pass

Matt Posted 25 January 2005 Posted 25 January 2005 I'm going this afternoon, might just chill out there today though, go in pool/sauna/spa because my legs are acheing quite bad after yesterday....i'm sooo unfit, which why i'm gonna start going to the gym regular! Actually might spend say half hour in the gym then go to pool, e.t.c, not sure i'll decide when I get there.
