The Reverend Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 Can't believe Grimsby Fisheries hasn't got a mention yet! AWESOME this thread has made me hungry im off to rothley chippy, by far the best in the land
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 I've got my chish and fips from Chris's in Earl Shilton tonight - try them if you live out in the Hinckley area and they also have a shop just off C*ventry Road !!
Jonbluefox9 Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 My Dad knows Jim who owns Rothley Chip shop and he gets the odd freebie when he goes down on a Saturday night. I'm sure Jim's father-in-law owns a potato farm or something, that's why he can afford free top-ups of chips in the restaurant bit, I've not ate in there before though.
Guest Gist Posted 1 March 2007 Posted 1 March 2007 The best Fish 'n' Chips I've had were in Blackpool a few months back As for local chip shops, maybe 'Bucks' is the best out of a bad bunch.
