Rincewind Posted 3 September 2007 Posted 3 September 2007 There is a way to stop cheating but it only works on certain group of questions. It works by giving slightly different questions for everybody. I do recall when the quiz started one or two saying their questions were different It's a case of not pleasing all the people all the time. I checked the cheating fix on mine. Don't know if it will work though as I have chosen a set questions each day. Think it only works on default. But as I set a different catagory each day even the cheats will not know what they are going to be. Nor will I. Hairy. when you get the leader table for the month does it give last place? The reason I ask is that I want to award Gold, silver and bronze medals as well as a wooden spoon. If people think it would be too humilitating to have the person named I will just go with the first three.

I've put a link in the new website thread but I dont want to conflict with Hairy's. I've just used the default questions for now. I've played and am second (to Linuska) which is strange as it had only just been set up and I thought I was the only one signed up. The questions are pretty easy with no F1. Doodlebug Brain Challenge could some one with admin inclination - put this link at the start of the thread with the other on, please - or is it not possible? DBC - 10/10 - not really a film buff either... FT - 6/10 - more F1, cricket and model villages... boring

Brainy Posted 7 September 2007 Posted 7 September 2007 Simple, highest score top unless the time taken to complete the quiz is highly bizarre. If you score the same as somebody else, the person who completed the quiz quicker will 'win' Its that or I completely misread your question.
