Mark Posted 23 January 2005 Posted 23 January 2005 A warning for you, we most certainly will/should be releasing the following in the Summer as they're contracts are up, with the exception of Gillespie, he's the only one we should keep. Walker, Pressman, Elliott, Dabizas, Keown, Dublin, Scowcroft, Gillespie, Nalis, Blake, Makin & Wilcox So it's anyones guess, he's bound to be in for a few of them at least. Adams loves the Summer, he don't hold back and signs anyone available. Especially players over the age of 30 available on a free transfer!

Performance wise, Nalis was Ok at the beginning of the season, but has got worse and worse and the season progresed. Dabizas has been useless whenever he'd played until the last few games. Dublin is a disaster, FACT.

Walker has been injured for a long time and we can't offer him a great contract so I think he'll "do one" in the summer. I don't rate Dabizas to be fair, scares the crap out of me! Christ I prefer sticks!!!!!! I won't even start on Pressman!

Scow Posted 25 January 2005 Posted 25 January 2005 I think Nalis will going back to France in the Summer. I wouldn't keep Dabizas - He gets exposed far too often at this level. Granted, he's played Ok for the last few games but he's generally been shocking. No thanks to Dublin - He's done well in defence, but we need to reduce the age of the squad. Levein sees him primarily as a striker anyway, and we now have De Vries. If Gillespie continues to play well, then I reckon we should keep him. I think it shows the faith Levein has in him when he puts him straight back in to the side after suspension.
