Daggers Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 Bunch of cocks. Fact. "Oh no Sir, I am not going to put you on hold..." "You'd better not - I've been on hold for over twenty minutes now and passed to three poeple so far..." "Oh no Sir, I am not going to put you on hold, I'm just going to transfer you..." Guess what ~ I got put on hold again. Why am I still on hold? Because I am trying to get a line installed. Who seriously carries on a business like this and expects to get new customers?

Daggers Posted 19 March 2007 Author Posted 19 March 2007 One hour ****ing seventeen minutes...four different operators... ...and then I end up being told I "may" be charged £120. What a joke of a company!

Sad thing is Dave they're not even unique or the worst, over the past few months whilst changing to a Water Meter, my Gas & Electricity suppliers, my Internet and my phone line I've come to the conclusion that none of them give a flying fook and might just as well join those twats at LCFC on the pitch for all the serve they provide. I don't actually blame the poor sods who have to answer the phone as they are being monitor to ensure they do behave the way they do. Mind you I hand an interesting chat with a young lady in Manila about the weather whilst trying to get my Sky internet working.

Mind you I hand an interesting chat with a young lady in Manila about the weather whilst trying to get my Sky internet working. I moved house 15 months ago. I rang all my utility suppliers to cancel my old connections and set up new accounts. Powergen were no problem with the electricity, water were OK. BT took quite a while and their phone process is painful. However, I am STILL waiting for my British Gas account to be set up! I do have a gas supply and I'm waiting for them to bill me, but they have been saying since December 2005 that they'll be sending me a welcome pack within the next few weeks...!
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 Dont ever get a phone with '3' they are the worst, in the last couple of months I've worked out my cummulative total time on the phone holding / talking to over polite Indian people who dont understand what I'm trying to say is about 3 HOURS!!!!
stez Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Dont ever get a phone with '3' they are the worst, in the last couple of months I've worked out my cummulative total time on the phone holding / talking to over polite Indian people who dont understand what I'm trying to say is about 3 HOURS!!!! i agree, '3' are f'king site; i was seduced into getting a contract with them some years ago (the service for setting up a contract was 2nd to non) from '3' pay as you go (which, if you could find someone who sold the weird top-ups was a good service) but i went onto a contract and after about a month the (brick-like) phone they sent me buggered up and trying to get it mended/replaced was impossible, in fact never happened i was expected to drive over to nottingham to get in mended myself. after cancelling my direct debit, they all of a sudden, got all chatty again, ie sending me warnings and putting me in the hands of a bailiff. cnuts. any government agency is also crap, especially tax crdits. happy to take your tax, but you try claiming back what you're owed, it took me 4 months to a-prove i had a daughter b-get them to send everything to the right address c-not confuse me with my mum and dad (who i live nowhere near) and d-get them to put it in the right bank account my MP (quentin davis) sorted it in the end.
