Poakey Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 Anyone spot the tw at who ran on the pitch at the end of the Spurs v Chelski game? A Spurs fan ran on the pitch and looked to have smacked Lampard in the face, then it looked like his mate followed him but got caught before he could do anything. All the scummy Spurs fans were cheering the the hooligans on.Disgusting.
Milky Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 It was really funny. He'll be banned from all football grounds for life though. Not even worth smacking lampard for.
JoeyB Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 it was quite funny then the steward slipped over. could of been better and hit Jose
Mort Posted 19 March 2007 Posted 19 March 2007 I thought it more interesting where Jose thumbed the Chelski badge in front of the away fans... I still think he'll be there next season.
Ultra Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Only if he wins the Champions League. But now that John Terry is back and Shevchenko has rediscovered his goal touch, that's quite possible.
The Reverend Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Obviously the bloke was not really a fan because if he liked football, he wouldnt do something like that. He knows he'll get banned so whats the point. And he didnt even hit Lamps, i mean if you're gonna run 70 yards to hit a player at least do it properly! But seriously, like Jamie Redknapp said, he could of had a knife or anything.

Master Fox Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Its kno bs like that who will get the fences put back up. Who remembers the fat bloke who ran on the pitch at the Walkers from L1 and tried to have a swipe at Ian Walker when we were 4-0 down to Villa??? He made a complete arse of it falling flat on his face!
Leonisco Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Who remembers the fat bloke who ran on the pitch at the Walkers from L1 and tried to have a swipe at Ian Walker when we were 4-0 down to Villa??? He made a complete arse of it falling flat on his face!   I was in the Family Stand that day only a few yards away. Was the funniest thing I have ever seen at the Walkers.
Guest Gist Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 It's quite concerning really that it took several stewards to eject just one of the fans imagine what would have happend if several others decided to run on the pitch.
Geo V Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 I think the Chelsea players were overdoing there celebrations. ALl running over to the support is fine but then slinging there shirts into the crowd and over-celebrating was bound to wind-up some of the locals. Im not condoning fans running onto the pitch to have a go but it wasnt the final and a cup win but a quarter-final victory which saw celebrations that could have potentially started a riot. Beating a team is one thing but rubbing the homes fans noses in it for what seemed like 10 mins was a bit too much. BTW, I hope the idiot is banned for life and maybe does a strech inside for his actions as if he gets away with it we may see a load of fans running on the pitch attacking the players.

You're right the players did over do it a bit. The police were expecting trouble after that game aswell becasue of some stabbings after the first game at Stamford Bridge.

The police were expecting trouble after that game aswell becasue of some stabbings after the first game at Stamford Bridge. I didnt hear about any stabbings last time but living in London you hear about active firms and The Yid Army hate Chelski big time and have regular punch-ups still. What should be mentioned is the mindset and mentality of some people. This idiot and his mate run on a pitch to hit players. They were so wound up they didnt give two tosses about the aftermath. Its not like the cameras wouldnt have picked up the event or that there werent any witnesses to what went on was there??!! Crazy fookers.
Finnegan Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Would right crack me up if the ref went over and booked every single player for taking their shirts off.
Simi Posted 20 March 2007 Posted 20 March 2007 Would right crack me up if the ref went over and booked every single player for taking their shirts off. Wouldn't put it past some of them. What an idiot that guy was...I mean he didn't even get a good punch in.
SystonFox Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 honestly i wouldnt do that to a derby or forest player. not on the pitch anyway
Geo V Posted 21 March 2007 Posted 21 March 2007 honestly i wouldnt do that to a derby or forest player. not on the pitch anyway Yeah but how many times have you been to football and been surrounded by total goons?? I know I have on many occasions and I was embarrased to be associated with the nonces. It doesnt happen so much these days but in the 90s, especially when travelling to away grounds I witnessed all sorts from people going OTT on the train and innocent people got in there way to one getting stabbed at Stoke and still went into the stadium to brag about it the idiot. The mentality of some people is so ridiculous that they would do anything. These Spurs fans typify how dumb some football supporters are.
