Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 rob kelly could pick me and i would certainly try, but it still wouldn't change the fact i was shite Yeah but would you be funny? I think Trev would still get in ahead of you purely on comedy value alone.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 you've never seen me 'play'! Yeah but your eyes don't look like this. >>> Let's just say... Stez and Trevor Benjamin up front together = the answer, indubitably.

Ultra Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 I'd have him back here tbh! Atleast he always tried! Don't we have enough League 2 standard players already?

JoeyB Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 Remember that goal he scored against Derby to give us the 2-1 win Magical
Leonisco Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 Remember that goal he scored against Derby to give us the 2-1 win Magical Nah, his goal against Pompey at the Walkers was the best.
Nationwider Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 He's a million pound Premiership striker - and remains so in my eyes. Gerrin, Trev.
lildave3 Posted 25 March 2007 Posted 25 March 2007 Nah, his goal against Pompey at the Walkers was the best. That's the one i remember best aswell
Geo V Posted 26 March 2007 Posted 26 March 2007 Playing for Walsall v MK Dons. Just scored a great lob, but the flag went up late I always get an uncomfortable feeling when big old dodgy eyed Trev Benji Benjamins name is mentioned and it was primarily down to feeling sorry for him and his family. I cant remember what the documentary was all about a few years ago but I can remember Benji being followed around and his missus and son being a part of the program. The Benjster would hardly get a game for us and when he did he fooked up. That led to some of our fans in having a pop at him and the documentary cameran zoomed on his missus and kids whilst he was getting some severe abuse. That must have been tough to hear for her as it was for me!!!! I hope she isnt reading this bit but I always thought he was shite and a waste of the £1.5m or so we paid for him.
lcfc_jme Posted 26 March 2007 Posted 26 March 2007 Trev wasn't a good footballer in all honesty, just a real powerhouse who became a cult-hero for being completely comical in most of what he did. Oh how Elvis Hammond wishes he had the same appeal as Trev did.
Wils Posted 26 March 2007 Posted 26 March 2007 The big man hasnt lost his magic. Everything went wrong when he left, the place hasnt been the same since. We miss you Trev.
