We just need the right manager in there and theres no way Mclaren is this manager

Tommeh Posted 26 March 2007 Posted 26 March 2007 Really How maybe I exaggerated that a bit but all our players are performing consistantly well in the prem but they just can't do it in the England shirt, whereas most opposing players in our groups are playing football at a much weaker level / not etting many games with bigger clubs.

Andorra have conceeded almost 5 a game (19 in 4) and are arguably one of the worst 3 sides playing in the Euro`s. This is the type of team that we should be devilish with and batter for 8 or 9. I cant remember the last time we hammered a donkey side, maybe when Graham Taylors mob won 7-1 against San Marino I think it was, after going a goal down in the first minute! Germany hammered San Marino a few months back (was it 12 or 13 goals??) and other big nations make short work of teams like Andorra. Hammer them and get some confidence and who knows, a miracle may happen and we may qualify.

Leonisco Posted 26 March 2007 Posted 26 March 2007 I'm sure we will in the end. The players we've got are more than capable of getting the results we need, only question is whether they can be arsed. Sooner or later, though, I think they'll realise what a mess they've got themselves in they'll start to book their ideas up. Anyway, I'm planning on going to the finals if we qualify, so they better fooking had.

Sorry to be pedantic, but they're actually ranked 163rd in the world (out of 207) in the latest world rankings I agree though, with the players we have we should absolutely destroy them.

The worst thing that could happen now is we hammer Andorra 8 or 9 nil because then we'll have to endure Steve the ever smiling clown for even longer, I wouldn't care if Andorra beat us because then he'd definitely go.
