Setanta is £15 a month - £10 for the first 3 months.

Which games will they be showing ? England matches ?

Dunno but they've also got the rights to 50 Premiership matches. They might take on Sky's package i.e. one FA Cup game per Cup weekend and all England away games. They've also got live European league football.

That is crap. :(. Hope they don't take away the Super Sunday on Sky.

I must be in the minority but I like ITVs coverage of the Champions League as at least they have guests who smile a bit and have some personality, not like those boring sods on the Beeb like Dixon, Garth Crooks (PMSL), Lawro, Bright(Why??) and Hansen. Also thank fook two more idiots in Shearer (Zzzzzzz) and Ian Wright will be off our screens, especially the latter who is an annoying little cockroach. Do you remember when Stevie Walsh went nuts after a game at him PMSL???!!

The negative to all this is Setanta getting the rights also. Money grabbing barstewards.

ITV take breaks which is so annoying

They do the same thing as Sky though they have a couple of nobheads like Andy Townsend and Robbie Earle talking a load of rubbish for 15 minutes then as soon as the players come out and are just about to kick off they take a bl00dy break!! that's the most annoying thing.

I guess you could luck at the brightside in that we will not have to suffer John Motson so much, I used to really like him but he's just turned into a boring old to$$er imo.

WHAT SETANTA WILL SHOW

FA Cup live coverage - I can live with the ITV coverage with the volume off

England home friendlies - name me one that was ever worth watching?

...and the rest I can live without ever watching and not know they were on:

England women's internationals

England Under-21 matches

Community Shield

Youth Cup

FA Trophy

FA Vase

I wonder how wise this commercial decision was...I'll not be rushing to watch the next England game. Aside from the Cup coverage they seem to have a big bag of nothing. :dunno:
