lildave3 Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Poor film... Shut up. I'll be watching now i know it's on. It's a quality film, all Austin Powers films are. Better than Bond
Daggers Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 who will be watching? Surely anybody watching will not be reading this post - thus negating your question?

Turtles Head Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 If you've seen one Austin Powers films, you've seen them all. Same "jokes" recycled.
cisono Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 If you've seen one Austin Powers films, you've seen them all. Same "jokes" recycled. Some people like the same old jokes. They don't like new/unexpected-type jokes. Perhaps they don't understand those! Whatever works for them... laughter is good
lcfc_jme Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 I preferred other Austin Powers films. This isn't the best one. I have it on old school VHS and have seen it many times.

Rincewind Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Don't know what to make of Austin Powers. Parts of the films are funny others are just stupid. It's obvious he goes over the top deliberately and the same joxes are recycled as somebody says but I think Mike Myers knows this and enphasisies in the scenes. It is a spoof and anything Myers does breaks a few rules anyway. I'd like to know why the women in the films find him sexy. Anyway anyone see George of the Jungle. Best one in that was the ape (John Cleese)

Best one in that was the ape (John Cleese) Hyperbole. They are passable films. He should have stopped at the first one really. Haven't seen George of the Jungle and don't think I'd like to. Horses for Courses though. My girlfriend (not a horse) loves romantic comedies, I don't enjoy them at all.

I preferred the second one with Heather Graham as Felicity Shagwell - "Shagwell by name and i shag very well by reputation".
