Flynny Posted 8 April 2007 Posted 8 April 2007 One half of me thinks it'll be close and the other half knows we'll get thrashed. I'm slightly hopeful though. If we can bowl like last time (Mahmood still hasn't convinced me but if he takes wickets like last time good luck to him) and bat better, we've just about got a chance. Hopefully we'll see Strauss get a game and Bopara further up the order.

Against Sri Lanka we were extremely unlucky as we were up for it and I reckon we will give the Aussies a game today. i wont predict a win but we are one of the few sides who not only have beaten them in test cricket but have reduced them to a shall of there former selves in the onedayers. Lets hope that Vaughan and Joye score some runs or else it may be time for a recall for Strauss. BTW, Bangldesh beating South Africa yesterday helps doesnt it??!

We played (well Bopara and Nixon) so well against Sri Lanka although we lost, Plus we will be looking to get Australia back for the Ashes, and Australia will be trying to get us back for the tri series, hopefully should be a good game! But as I don't know much about cricket I'll stay quiet!
