Connecting a laptop to a TV

Recommended Posts

Right I'm hoping that the technology-savvy Foxestalk crew can sort me out with the answer to the following problem...

I have a Dell laptop (only a few months old) and want to connect it to my TV through the Scart (AV) socket so I can watch DivX films.

What do I do?

Muchos Gracius

EDIT: before anyone says it I HAVE looked around the internet for the answer but it's a f**king minefield out there of different solutions and general confusion hence my quest for the simple answer starting on these hallowed pages!
