Muz Posted 31 January 2005 Posted 31 January 2005 Link Game brought forward. Got to get up even earlier now
Ric Flair Posted 31 January 2005 Posted 31 January 2005 That's horrendous, you are seriously looking at a 7am set-off at the latest. It's been known to take 5 or so hours to get down there, I would hate to see what the damage would be on the train to Plymouth on a sunday. I think i'll get myself arrested that weekend, save me the heartache.

pafcfan10 Posted 31 January 2005 Posted 31 January 2005 bangs goes the pre-match lie in, as i live in cornwall i will have to be on my way at 9, i expect there will be less away fans now, what a way to wreck the end of the season ay? i hope its not our board who have delayed the kick-off, i apologise if it is. dont worry, u will thrash us whatever time the match starts
Steven Posted 31 January 2005 Posted 31 January 2005 Charter a plane from EM airport. It will be surprisingly cheap.
Scow Posted 31 January 2005 Posted 31 January 2005 Ah, bugger. Hopefully I'll get a weekend booked down there, so it shouldn't really make a difference.
emmalcfc Posted 31 January 2005 Posted 31 January 2005 My sister was thinking about driving down. Can't see she's going to want to now

Robsdee Posted 1 February 2005 Posted 1 February 2005 Lot of us are going down for the weekend as it's the last game of the season AND at the seaside!

Simon Posted 2 February 2005 Posted 2 February 2005 From the wording of the piece it sounds like all the championship games are being brought forward...
Chandler Posted 2 February 2005 Posted 2 February 2005 Looks like the ol' Bill are responsible for this. Not sure about the reasoning behind this piece of 'advice.' There's more time for fans to hang around afterwards for a bit of public disorder (as opposed to bar room brawls). Early kick offs should be outlawed. A bit of an anti climax if you win. Too much time to brood over a defeat.
dan_84 Posted 2 February 2005 Posted 2 February 2005 dont get too excited, the directors boxes are in the 'shit' part of the stadium iv bin told they are portacabins stacked on top of each other is that right? if it is i might just sit with the city faithful
BartonFox Posted 2 February 2005 Posted 2 February 2005 It's standard practice in the FL has been for years, all the League 1 & 2 games will be on Saturday and the CCC will finish on Sunday with every game kicking off at 1pm. Sky will show 2 games live, and so no team has an advantage of knowing what they have to do the rest kick off at the same time.

I'd hate to think what they'd be like at 7.45pm after an all day bender! Thank goodness we're in the 5th round of the Cup! At least if the rearranged match is on a Tuesday or Wednesday, the all-dayer doesn't seem so tempting....
pafcfan10 Posted 3 February 2005 Posted 3 February 2005 iv bin told they are portacabins stacked on top of each other is that right? if it is i might just sit with the city faithful dont know where you heard that they are under the advertising boards
