He's not bald Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 There is nothing going on,no new manager news,no signings,no new kit news,no fixture list,no world cup to look forward to,no euro championships!...May 2007 has to be the most boring month ever!
Brainy Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 I don't think so, especially if your one of the teams in the play-offs May - Speculation June - things start to come together July - finishing touches Aug-Apr - we suffer, again.

filbertway Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 How can you say it's boring when the play off's are on? Best part of the season I reckon. Mid June all the excitment starts again, then its pre season, and before you know it we're back into it.
Mr Happy Posted 13 May 2007 Posted 13 May 2007 Today wasn't that bad, I was hoping (and praying) for our former foxes, especially heskey, who are in teams in play-off's or end of premiership campaigns to come through unscathed. Also we can dream (amongst all the speculation) about who our next manager is, which players are staying and leaving, how we'll do next season etc. This is the best period because it gives us time to reflex on the rubbish season we just had and the one thats coming (should be awesome!) with any luck

Not really interested in the playoffs being a lifelong Foxes fan...sorry I really don't care..is that wrong..am I missing something here?
Geo V Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 People always say that but there is always loads of sporting stuff going on. If you want footy there is still the daily dose of playoffs, and then the UEFA/Champions League finals are played. Im sure the u21 Championships are this summer too?? Add to that Wimbledon, the cricket, Spanish football (which drags on) and the fact that the sun will be out so people can actually leave the house then all is well.
Micky Ruddle Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 For the time being, it is, but watching Blackpool beating Forest at Wembley will be good
The People's Hero Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 The thing to do is get a woman. This will consume all your money, time and cause you grief during the couple of months when Leicester City Football Club is not in a position to do so.
Foxhateram Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 The thing to do is get a woman. This will consume all your money, time and cause you grief during the couple of months when Leicester City Football Club is not in a position to do so. that would be a good idea. but the problem is i had to put up with a messy break-up right at the end of the season, those months were far to depressing for my liking, us looking set to go down and me girlfreind being a right c*w what an ace season haha. u think im allowed to go get someone knew yet its been a few weeks now, im scared of her freinds beating me up . anyways in football related issues i wish sommit woulf hurry up and happen the suspense is killing me, im checking everday to see if the new manager is here, i think i have some sorta obsesive compulsive thing . and also i agree with the majority this month is exciting in play-offs and under 21's this summer will be good.
The People's Hero Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 Well I split up with my girlfriend on May 1st. Of course you're allowed to get back in the game. Life is too short. Obviously though, women must think we need to wait a bit, because there aren't too many throwing themselves at my feet just yet. It's a waiting game though. Or is it? I don't know. TPH 14/05/07. Possibly losing mind.
Lord Nibblington Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 TPH 14/05/07. Possibly losing mind. Wasn't aware you still had one. But kudos, non the less.

The People's Hero Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 Would you like my cast offs? They're pretty ropey to be fair. I'd say no.
The People's Hero Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 Wasn't aware you still had one.But kudos, non the less. Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. And the left shoe which was part of a pair of brown leather Peter Werth shoes. I now have just the right one, which taunts me, albeit silently. Mocking me with how well it would go with my outfit, if only it's partner were present.
Geo V Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 PMSL and Im trying to find the courage to end my relationship with my missus! To be fair I usually try to be single in the summer so when I go abroad I can have a fookfest without having any thoughts of being a cheater Let the games begin from May the 20th

The People's Hero Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 I'd just end it. If it's not what you want, why continue with it? It's really not worth staying just for habit's sake.

Perhaps we should put them together and create some sort of super pair of shoes. However, I say lost, and what I really mean is kicked it off somewhere in my bedroom, and can't be bothered to look for it.
Lord Nibblington Posted 14 May 2007 Posted 14 May 2007 Sh Sh Sh Shoe People. How does the rest of that song go? I was trying to sing it recently, and ended up repeating that line for about 5 minutes. It was a good day.

I havent know her long but she is kinda clingy and its getting silly now. She knows its not going well because I avoid her certain days but I need to put her straight before I go abroad because the last thing I`ll need is for her to turn up during my holidays. She is a great lass and deserves better anyway but I am too unreliable and inconsistent a dude to by a good boyfriend at the moment. Its just never easy ending a relationship and not something that I for one can do without remorse, unless of course she starts laughing and says "thank god for that" midway through my speech
