Finnegan Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 Of course they had to give the same punishment (and i notice you say more or less) to the smaller team becuse they set the example with Milan, but if just Reggina did it, would the punishment have been the same? Again, you are aware Milan weren't "made an example of" and that Milan were only a bit-part in the trials, right? Again, you are aware that a man named Luciano Moggi and a little club by the name of Juventus were at the epicenter of the trial, right? The way most of you are carrying on, you'd think Milan had been accused of buying their various titles, stripped of THEIR honours and thrown out of Serie A. christ, if an italian court finds a team guilty, i think that's as strong an argument as anyone can put forward - there are many cheats in this sport (too many - especially the players) italian football was and has been before, found guilty Christ. Yes, exactly, an Italian court of law found the team guilty. AND punished them with a points deduction. The matter resolved. "Italian football" as a whole hasn't been found guilty, you're just tarring them all with the same brush for the sakes of discriminating against a slightly theatrical footballing nation. Such sensationalistic pap as "by allowing italian football to remain active, is to allow cheating to remain unpunished" really does your argument no favours at all. It comes to something when Ultra puts across the best opposing points in a discussion.
Koke Posted 24 May 2007 Posted 24 May 2007 You can debate back and forth whether they should be here or not. All I gotta say is.....

Jay Posted 25 May 2007 Posted 25 May 2007 Thought you were a Juve fan? isn't that like a Man Utd fan supporting Liverpool or a Celtic fan supporting Rangers?

Koke Posted 25 May 2007 Posted 25 May 2007 Thought you were a Juve fan? Juve lover/sympathizer/follower etc.. And I respect Milan. I know it sounds dodgy, but there you go.
The Reverend Posted 25 May 2007 Posted 25 May 2007 Juve lover/sympathizer/follower etc.. And I respect Milan. I know it sounds dodgy, but there you go. Apparently lots of Italian fans second team is Milan. Because they do things the right way. Apparently.......... lol
