However, one Holy Grail has evaded me for too long!! I need to find somewhere around here that I can lay my hands on a decent kebab Please help me in my quest! and no wind ups, I've already eaten at most of the bad ones and have the damaged Armitage shanks pan to prove it

Mort Posted 28 May 2007 Posted 28 May 2007 In Leicester.... well there is a v.nice little take-away on Alendale Rd (then again isnt everything on Alendale stupidly up market? ), beyond there I'm rather fond of "sunny blue chippy" and next term i get to live within under five minutes of it! ...both do smashing chicken kebabs... ...however the best Kebab i ever had was in Nottingham () City Kebabs... they stone bake the nahn bread for you and grill the shish kebab, lush!

IF you like to try something alittle better, why not try a kebab from the Oasis Bar on Narborough Road, they don't do the doner type etc but there chicken tikka kebabs etc are very nice!!

Keep one in the fridge for the morning after, and dont tell the Digestive diseases unit at the royal where you get your dinner, they may refuse to treat you!!
