kerryh Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 Some of you may be wondering why I have kept on wittering on about the A14. Well I have not read the title of this thread properly and thought it was the coach to Ipswich.   Now I realise it is about going to Charlton   <_< then I suggest the following. M1 to Junction 1 -> North Circular all the way until you see signs for the Blackwall Tunnel then a left when you get out of the tunnel and the ground is very near by.  64523 Isn't Wittering in Lincolnshire ? 64547 Wellman territory - East and West on the West Sussex coast. 64555 I just shut up about it - being a girl what would I know about directions!
Robsdee Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 Advice: Teeno don't go on the train FFS, will be loads of Trees fans going down to the smoke, there are about 3/4 games in London that weekend. FT is the way chick
Oli Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 Teeno, your mad to go on the train. Going to be alot of trouble down in London taht weekend. Forest are playing Spurs, so enough said. And some more clubs known for trouble will be down there aswell.
Teeno Posted 9 February 2005 Posted 9 February 2005 I'm stayin in P'boro the night before and going down from then, we'll be allright. Going down early and won't be wearing club colours. I'll be ok auntie Dee

Solihullfox Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 Latest news - 16 coaches so far AND ONLY 700 TICKETS LEFT, going on sale to members today.
Craig Posted 10 February 2005 Author Posted 10 February 2005 Plus all the unofficial coaches, going to be mad
Oli Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 I am going on a mini bus. With some friends.
Solihullfox Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 If anybody can get a picture of the convoy from one of the bridges on the M1, I reckon it would be awesome. Obviously I would feel sorry for the bod who couldn't get a ticket but I'm sure we could have a whip round and buy them a programme. Anyone know who could do it ??
Scow Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 We had similar numbers going down to Reading, and we didn't take any where near as many coaches. I bet the traffic is going to dire getting down there, especially with Forest making the trip too. I remember going Millwall earlier this season, it took over 4 hours to get there, and over 5 hours to get back. Millwall is not that far from Charlton...
Durnerz Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 How are they going to fit 16 coaches in the parking spaces outside the stadium?

I wonder exactly how much they make from Fox Travel......

I think this is why most people will be using Fox Travel. I am in the West Midlands but am still going with FT due to the restrictions for cars around The Valley.
Steven Posted 10 February 2005 Posted 10 February 2005 If you can get to Charing Cross without any trouble, then I would take the train.
