No, he's not doing to bad. Clay seems to be his weakest surface, but on the other hand you could just call it Nadals strongest, because without a doubt it is, suits his style of play.

To be considered the best player EVER, Federer has to be successful on ALL surfaces. Otherwise he'll just be bracketed with Borg, McEnroe, Agassi or Sampras.

I do agree with you slightly be he's not a poor player on clay The man is unstoppable most of the time, he's just unfortuante to be around at the same time as Rafa, who is arugable the best clay court player ever.
Ultra Posted 10 June 2007 Posted 10 June 2007 They are both quality players who are likely to be around for a while to come (which is bad news for the likes of Andy Murray, among others). It may well be too soon to judge their records against those of previous generations.
