Mort Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 I'm fairly happy with Blackpool at home for the first game... but our first few games are fairly tough, then again i could be saying that based on our pathetic showings last season, with any luck we'll show some improvment and we'll actually have some fairly straight forward games this season... havent had one of those for a while!

Plus I'm sure Martin Allen will be glad to see Plymouth away as our 4th league match, not much chance of him losing his job there! Phew! A nice run in at the end of the season too. Ending with Stoke away.

Agree, they also play good football... though I’d expect Allen to be the sort who could smother their style of play, it's a long way out but I could see it being a pretty scrappy game the clash between Grayson and Allen's respective styles of play should be interesting… doubt it’ll be pretty. Think Palace might have the makings of a better game to be honest... but its way too far out to say.

Why is it we always get stupid distance games on a tues night, southampton on a tuesday night are they having a laugh. And watford away on a tues night, these people are so inconsiderate hehe. Bring on 2nd feb weekend in Blackpool whoop
