Tommeh Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Going to barcelona next feburary so Cov away is worrying me a bit
Vennegoor10 Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 I thinkour fixture list is better thanlast years as we have probably the most winnable game in the league first, a great chance for CC to score on his debut as blackpool don't have a very big defence i think. After that the opening away games are tough but the Allen way is to fight and scrap for everything so who knows? In terms of the run in, after WBA there are a few games that are certainly winnable. However most preconceptions are being made because of last seasons displays by teams, we cannot be sure of any of this. However i'm going to put my neck on the line and say burnley will finish midtable!
The Stig Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 The pressure will be on MA in his first game, think about it, he's come in, will have spent a few bob, change the side around made changes and against a newly promoted club everyone will expect a win, so if he doesn't something isn't right.
filbertway Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Whey, I'll be 18 by the time the Blackpool away trip comes round

filbertway Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 How?You could easily pass for my age... Great aint it, under 16 prices, when it comes to pubbery, ID shows that I am in fact 18. Splendid.
DB11 Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Couldn't have asked for a better opening fixture. I'm also chuffed we're at home on Boxing Day! Get in!

Head Honcho Posted 14 June 2007 Posted 14 June 2007 Don't forget to wear your Daffodil to Cardiff on St Davids Day.

Brainy Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 No disrespect to Blackpool, as I feel they will do a Colchester this year, but what a chance this will be to score all three points on the first day. A full house at the Walkers and the atmosphere will be buzzing. Its too early yet but im not to confident on getting a result at Palace, never been a great place to go the past few years. Watford at home, difficult but we can get the victory if everybody puts in a great effort, and Plymouth, same as Palace unfortunately. Good to see we're at home over Christmas. March looks to be an important month, trips to WBA and Sheff Utd if I remember correctly, but some great chances to get maximum points late on as we host S****horpe and Hull. The last few games are difficult but it could be worse. Colchester, Bristol City coming to town, with a trip to Barnsley, all winnable. Sheff Wed, our last home fixture of the season, hopefully get a decent crowd and three points, with a difficult trip to the Britannia. I hope we dont need to get a result there!
Tevez Posted 16 June 2007 Posted 16 June 2007 Very tough season especially the first 6 games and the december block.
city1993 Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 Blackpool home is first, great start, hopefully a good start to the season. Ipswich on boxing day AGAIN... has anybody else noticed that ?? Stoke away last game could be a -whoever wins gets into the play-offs- sort of game !! Lets have a promotion party in stoke, yhhh !!
