The Reverend Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 Mate, your talking shite. Lita is twice the player Akinbiyi ever was and Lita has only just started out in the game. Pace strength and finishing is all you could ever want in a player and Lita has all those attributes in abundance. Pace he has yes. Strength, erm probably yes. Finishing, im afraid not. Not that he wont in the future but at the minute, his finishing isnt the best. Hes young and has time to improve it though.

Pace strength and finishing is all you could ever want in a player and Lita has all those attributes in abundance. Of course hes fking better than Akinbiyi. All I did was say they both hit a ball as hard as they can hoping it will go in. Do me a favour, find where i've posted "Akinbiyi is a better player than Lita", because im not aware of me saying it.
Brainy Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 Oh, and concerning the game; Matt Derbyshire has been spat at in the tunnel by a Serbian player(s), and Justin Hoyte has had a racial remark aimed at him.

You said that that Lita reminds you of Akinbadbi when the only similarity they have is being black. And to say all he does is whack the ball and hope it goes in is ludacris. The Litanatour has a bright future ahead of him and does'nt deserve to be put anywhere near the same league as Akinbyi.
Tevez Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 Agreed Turkish & LD3, Lita is quality, hope he makes the England seniors soon.

Manwell Pablo Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 Lita has missed some sitters this tournament, whilst a Bristol City he'd suffer from the same problem in patches. But the lad can finish when he's on form.
Sparky Posted 17 June 2007 Posted 17 June 2007 think lita will go on to have a decent premiership career but cant see him making it at international level , think the attribute he needs the most is a bit of composure infront of goal . he is still young and i suppose he will improve and that may come to him
Wilkesy Posted 18 June 2007 Posted 18 June 2007 They were 2-0 up though wern't they?Should they have won? i didn't see the game. Even though Serbia have won both their games, i think we will beat them!
Brainy Posted 18 June 2007 Posted 18 June 2007 I think we were always going to beat Serbia. Shame about the way Serbia reacted to the goal. They're u21's too, disgrace.
Milky Posted 18 June 2007 Posted 18 June 2007 Having watched all 3 games i've been extremely disappointed with the performances, and the management team. We were awful in the first game, in the second Italy battered us for the most part, and last night we were awful again. We can play so much better than this. As for the management, they don't make changes and leave subs far too late despite poor performances and lack of fitness, and being totally over-run in the midfield. Freshen it up pearce! you can't keep getting away with it.

Leonisco Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Currently 1-0 up against Holland in the semis thanks to Leroy Lita. Come on boys!!
Milky Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 pearce just fooked us over with his mickey adamsitis. 1-0 up, 85 on the clock, holding out well with two solid banks of four and two up top keeping the dutch backline occupied. all going nicely, so he decides to fook it up with a stupid pointless substitution. Takes lita off, brings on another defender, leaving just one up top which invites even more pressure, and alters the defensive set up which was previosuly holding out well. suprise, suprise holland equalise, and not only that, seeing as though that pointless change was the last available substitution, with taylor picking up an injury we're now facing extra time with one up top and a lame duck. change for fooking change sake. IDIOT! Edit: another injury, down to 9 1/2 men. 15 mins until pens.

The Reverend Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Penalties. England.Oh no.. Holland are about the only team in the world who are almost as bad as us at penalties
Milky Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 It's time all managers were screened for Mickey Adamsitis me thinks we've hung on. Pens it is. That 30 mins of extra time was just attack v defence! knackered, injured, down a man, we really faught hard for that. if we do win this though, we've picked up 4 suspensions and countless injuries. We'll have no midfielders for the final!

Brainy Posted 20 June 2007 Posted 20 June 2007 Somebody tell me the point in having the linesman watching the goalkeeper? They never order a fking re-take.
