The Stig Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 I think after the fuel rig incident he was all ways going to be in bad books! I don't think he'll be back in F1
Gené and Tonic Posted 10 July 2007 Author Posted 10 July 2007 Shame, I thought he was a nice guy..but nice guys finish last as highlighted this season Christian Klien is the favourite to get the seat
Floating Fox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Couldn't really care who gets the drive...Their still going to do shite! Klien is probably the best choice though.
Floating Fox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Have you seen the new Spa Circuit? They've totally changeed the bus stop, again. As well as refurbing the start straight & making it longer. It's crap.
Brainy Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 One of the worst drivers on the track has left. We'll live.

Haven't seen the start finish straight though. It may all have changed since I last viewed it. Have you got a pic/video?
Floating Fox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 If you wikipedia the track it has an updated layout of the track, I was watching a race there the other day, ahh yes Dutch SuperCar..genius! Don't like it..I also couldn't see any grandstand's along the home straight. Did you know that the A1 Ring has been demolished as well?

Did you know that the A1 Ring has been demolished as well? Still think its ok..especially compared to some other lay-out changes in recent years. I guess the grandstands are still being build I didn't think it had been demolished. Last I heard Red Bull owned it and wanted to redevelop the track i.e new pitbuildings etc. Not too bothered really it wasn't very interesting and quite a short lap, shame really as the track before it (Osterreichring) was an awesome track.
Floating Fox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 A1 Was one of my favourite tracks to be fair, Loved turn 1 & 2. I think its just the grandstands that have been demolished atm but Red Bull are unsure wether to use it as a test track.. The bus stop was an awesome corner, now its just average
Gené and Tonic Posted 10 July 2007 Author Posted 10 July 2007 Well we seem to disagree on tracks quite a bit Imo it definately needed to be longer With the bus stop, I think the main reason they changed it was because it was dangerous - cars going into the pits would be going much faster than those actually taking the corner Silly reason imo, although we'll have to wait till the race to see whether it's better or not. Just be thankful Eau Rouge and the rest of the circuit is still intact
Floating Fox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 :w00t: Just been racing on the 94' Track Imola on Rfactor. Genius is all I can say really! I was taking the lines for the corners as they are now though  Very Bumpy

Floating Fox Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Not a patch on F1 05 that i've been playing recently Is that one of those cheap sony games? (Well actually they're rather expensive) There wank.
lildave3 Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Is that one of those cheap sony games? (Well actually they're rather expensive) There wank. Easy too. Even on hard mode I get wins in a minardi
The Stig Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 Is there a new one out this year? It could be called F1 07
Brainy Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 There are some clips on youtube of F107 (or at least i think its f107)
potter3 Posted 10 July 2007 Posted 10 July 2007 The '07 one must be out, I've had it for a while although I did press 0 rather than 9 by accident, because '97 is the latest version I've got

Genius is all I can say really!I was taking the lines for the corners as they are now though  Very Bumpy It's an awesome game really, with updates from ISI as well..rain is coming soon. The thing I can't get right though is the force feedback. I'm using the realfeel plug-in that makes it physics based so you feel exactly what is happening but just can't get the wheel stiff enough. Tell you what though, try the new Champcar mod...simply brilliant, there's a fix for the bad physics coming out too

Tell you what though, try the new Champcar mod...simply brilliant, there's a fix for the bad physics coming out too I know what you mean I can't drive some cars, the back just steps out as I hit the power, even with TC on high!! I'm very into the Meganne mod atm for some reason & I think I'll wait for the patch for Champcar. Talking of champcar, I watched it last night, Vancouver. Great track, someone died there a few years ago actually, but yeah it rained and what a race it was only 9 Finishers in the end. A lot better than f1...also noticed how f1 like the cars are, untill you go onboard that is. What type of Champcar is the new mod?
Gené and Tonic Posted 11 July 2007 Author Posted 11 July 2007 They also have turbo engines It's the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Fantastic graphics, and the sound is good too, but people are complaining of the physics being too easy, but tbh it makes it fun, although I would prefer it to be more realistic
