Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Yeah, but I don't think he'd have the stamina, ability, body, soul, mind, presence, impact, sexual ardour, gift of the gab, likeability, charisma, honesty, glamour, grace or stubborness that Porter does. Now there's a player's player's player's player's player. He plays and he plays and he loves to play.. and you can see it when he plays (which he does). :D
Ric Flair Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 Sounds to me that he's very raw, I think Allen could get the best out of him though. Can't imagine he'll allow him to rest on his laurels and hardy, he'll have to push on and if he does then he could be quality.
Guest Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 I think it's time for a Porter Out push, if for no other reason than to annoy Thracian who has seriously misunderstood Porter's place in the football echelons (ie three years til he's non-league)

Martin Allen already seems to appreciate Hammond's efforts and if he voices the same regard for Porter you could end up pissing in the wind.
Pete_foxes Posted 18 July 2007 Posted 18 July 2007 First half he was our best player, great pace and a real firecracker of a player. Second half MA started to get on his back a bit, and he did seem to run out of energy. Give him some Duracell and who knows. More impressive than porter at this stage. most of the MK don's fans seemed to hold the view that he wasn't fully fit when playing for them. It is good to hear these early promising signs from our less well known players

Hayes was the one MA encouraged (read: shouted at) most last night along with Stearman and Hammond.
