I know a lot of people don't like cider but it tastes more like fruit juice than any cider I've ever tasted before. I practically lived off the stuff last week on holiday. Seriously, if you've not yet had it, go out and buy it/scrounge it/steal it - it's great stuff!

If it is then I've tried it and itwasn't bad better than normal cider anyway.
Rincewind Posted 29 July 2007 Posted 29 July 2007 Not seen that one although cider is not my regular drink. Went to a cider festival at the Criterion the other week. Only had a couple of halves but it nearly knocked me out. (7% and 8%) Was knackered when I got home. Something about cider that does that to me. If you like cider ther'll be a good selection at the GBBF 7th-11th August (I'll be there working in orange) and a week or so later its the Peterborough one. Happy drinking.
General Smuts Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Im a big Cider drinker and love a good Scrumpy Jack/Strongbow/Magners/Bulmers/Gaymers etc so this sounds right up my street. Where can you get it from? I've not seen hide nor hair of it.
Durnerz Posted 30 July 2007 Posted 30 July 2007 Found it quite sickly after a bit but tastes alright, I wouldn't pay £3.26 for a bottle again though off the shelf, Kopparberg is better IMO Pear cider, light and just the right level of sweetness plus its cheaper. Beautiful.

That was back in the day you could wake up and find a bottle in your Xmas stocking, and not have some namby-pamby nosey parker sticking their oar in and demanding you are put into care just because you are only 10 years old.
