JoeyB Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Peterborough have just gone 2-0 up against Southampton, not seen the goals just turned it on! George burley aint a happy bunny!! First shock of the season?
dandannieldanok Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 To be fair Saints have no recognised centre halves, although against a lower league side that cant be a get out clause.
kidder_wolf Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 The way things are going i can see Burley getting pushed into quitting or sacked soon if they carry on like this
Head Honcho Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I'll be off to watch Cardiff v Brighton tomorrow.
Brainy Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Peterborough are meant to be the/one of the best teams in League 2. Great scoreline though.
lildave3 Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Josh Low aint looking to bad either And how's he playing?
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 And how's he playing? Not as good as mr B is making out Southampton Have some right shit in their team...Mario Licka he really is shit. Pretty good game, impressed with Peterborough.
Daggers Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Hoo hoo hoo...I love a laugh, me. Great start to the season Soton

Joe. Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I tipped them for promotion aswell. <_< To be honest so did I. Remember Sunderland having a shocking start? Did them no harm
Manwell Pablo Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Lows been woefull past 20 minutes. Aaron Mclean has looked usefull
Daggers Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Aaron Mclean has looked usefull Wonder how he'd be at left back?
Joe. Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 What was the final score? Peterborough 2 Southampton 1
Toby or not Toby Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Peterborough 2Southampton 1  Great start for them! Wonder if Saganowski is regretting going there over us
Brainy Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I wouldn't call that a shock. If I remember correctly, only nine championship teams made it into the 2nd round last year?
Macdaddy Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 Vignal shite, the wrong wright phillips on the team sheet, boyd good, maclean brilliant. Did you hear the commentary about Low. "All of a sudden Low has developed three left feet" Awesome banter.. Low?? now he is a load of crap! Dyer looked sharp though..
Geo V Posted 13 August 2007 Posted 13 August 2007 I said on a thread I started that quite a few Championship sides are severely weaken and wont reach last seasons heights because they haven't replaced the players they sold and Southampton were one of those clubs. You cant lose Baird, Bale, Pele and to a lesser extent Prutton and bring in a loan or two and an average Bosman and expect to be up there again. Im not sure whats going on with them but to not give Burley any money is ridiculous as he is a quality manager at this level. Ive back Peterboro to win D2 so am delighted with there start and this win will help there confidence. Bad news for soton though!
act smiley Posted 14 August 2007 Posted 14 August 2007 Im not sure whats going on with them but to not give Burley any money is ridiculous Parachute payments running out, isn't it?
