I hate all the fuss that goes with mobile phones, I really do and hence I know nothing about them and can't be arsed to research any. I am due a new handset with my provider but I also need a sat nav for when I move for my new job, I understand this phone has GPS. Does anyone have this phone and if so, is it worth getting?

Cheers c*nts

Awesome phone, good camera, but the GPS is wank and you have to pay an extra £50 to get voice instructions on the GPS. Takes ages and ages to get a lock, I never use the GPS just use the camera, wifi, mp3 player and its has a nice screen.

Battery life aint too good either, lasts about a day and a half before it needs recharging so I brought a car charger and now charge it whenever i am in the car which is 45 mins there and the same back, seems to do the trick and never need to recharge.

GPS is wank. The most redundant gadget in the history of gadgets.

Any man that can't find one part of the country from another shouldn't be driving a car.

I only want it to find my inner city pad, then I'll pass it to a tramp or something for him to sell on the market, no joke. The rest I have a road map for

On paper it is an awesome phone, but I've had mine 3 months and I'm so desparate to get rid of it and go back to a sony.

1. it is SLOW!

2. the battery life is AWFUL, you will be taking your charger with you everywhere

3. its packed with bells and whistles but you'll find most are pointless

4. the mp3 player is really, really poor.

5. it doesnt have a stopwatch???

6. the camera cover is constantly coming open in your pocket, this not only drains the battery but also takes an age to switch back to the main menu

7. there are 2 menu buttons, which constantly get in the way if you play games., and the 'funky' menu is just a waste of time

my advice: dont get one....

If you get an N95 now, its £85 to subscribe to the GPS.

Also, for the GPS to work you have to hold the phone at at least a 45% angle lol. If you have it any more upright it doesnt work. Random, but true.

In general the phone sucks anyway. Freezes a lot, call problems and really slow.

N95's are shit, had one for a couple of weeks but got so pissed off with it that I got rid. Chunky as hell, battery life is absolute bollocks, GPS is rubbish.

If you want Tomtom on it as well, you could always get a phone which runs Windows Mobile and download Tomtom for it. Some phones which run WM have built in GPS, if not you could always get a cheap external Bluetooth GPS for about 20 quid and hook it up. I now use a HTC Touch and use TomTom on it with an external GPS seeing as it hasnt got built in GPS.
